Details below are also listed so site\nowners know what is contacted and why.<\/p>\n\n<h4>CookiePeak (required for banner functionality)<\/h4>\n\n<p>Service: CookiePeak consent management (https:\/\/cookiepeak.com), operated by\nFloBa Media.<\/p>\n\n<p>What it is used for:\n* Loading the consent banner script (banner.js) and banner configuration\n* Optional OAuth connection from wp-admin to manage websites\n* Receiving consent log events and aggregated page-view counts used by CookiePeak<\/p>\n\n<p>What data is sent and when:\n* Frontend (when a Website ID is configured and the banner is enabled): the site\n  loads banner.js and fetches banner configuration for that Website ID\n* When a visitor saves consent choices: consent categories\/choices and a hashed\n  session identifier are sent to the CookiePeak API (raw IP addresses are not stored)\n* Aggregated page-view counts for usage metering\n* OAuth in wp-admin: authorization code \/ token exchange and API calls to\n  list or create websites; access and refresh tokens are stored in the WordPress\n  database (not publicly)<\/p>\n\n<p>Legal \/ privacy links (operator):\n* Service: https:\/\/cookiepeak.com\n* Privacy policy: https:\/\/www.floba-media.de\/datenschutz\n* Legal notice (Impressum \/ operator terms): https:\/\/www.floba-media.de\/impressum<\/p>\n\n<p>Without a Website ID (and with the banner disabled) the plugin does not call\nCookiePeak on the public frontend.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Third-party scripts already on your WordPress site<\/h4>\n\n<p>This plugin does not embed or call Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta\nPixel, or similar services by itself. If your theme or other plugins already\noutput those scripts, CookiePeak may rewrite their script tags so they only run\nafter the matching consent category is granted.
