It does this by writing Open Graph (og:*) meta tags\ninto the document head.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is deliberately small and safe to run alongside other plugins. In the default\n\"Auto\" mode it detects when your theme or SEO plugin already outputs Open Graph\nand stands down, so you never end up with two competing sets of tags.<\/p>\n\n<p>Features:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Outputs og:title, og:type, og:url, og:site_name, og:description and og:image.<\/li>\n<li>Covers posts, pages, public custom post types (WooCommerce products included), term archives, the search page and the front page.<\/li>\n<li>Smart image resolution: the featured image first, then the first image found in the content, then a configurable default image URL.<\/li>\n<li>Choice of the \"property\" or \"name\" attribute for the tags.<\/li>\n<li>Auto duplicate protection: it adds nothing when a known Open Graph producer is active (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress, The SEO Framework, Jetpack, GMC SEO API, or a YOOtheme theme), leaving a single HTML comment for troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Output mode: Auto (recommended), Always output, or Off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This is the free edition and does not call any external service.
