This plugin fixes the two most common blockers so the connection \"just works\":<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Re-enables Application Passwords<\/strong> when a CDN\/proxy (such as Cloudflare) makes WordPress think the site is not on HTTPS, or when a security plugin has switched the feature off.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rebuilds the Authorization header<\/strong> that some servers (LiteSpeed, CGI\/FastCGI, or reverse proxies) strip before it reaches PHP \u2014 the usual cause of a valid Application Password being rejected as \"not logged in.\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Your normal login password is never used or exposed. The app authenticates with a WordPress Application Password that you create and can revoke at any time.<\/p>\n\n<p>This plugin is intended for sites served over HTTPS (which is virtually all sites today).<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>In your WordPress dashboard, go to <strong>Plugins &rarr; Add New Plugin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Search for <strong>Novellaire Connect<\/strong>, click <strong>Install Now<\/strong>, then <strong>Activate<\/strong>.\n(Or upload the plugin ZIP via <strong>Plugins &rarr; Add New Plugin &rarr; Upload Plugin<\/strong>.)<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Users &rarr; Profile<\/strong>, scroll to <strong>Application Passwords<\/strong>, and create one named \"Novellaire\".<\/li>\n<li>In the Novellaire app, open <strong>Tools &rarr; Export to WordPress<\/strong>, enter your site address, your WordPress username (or account email), and paste the Application Password.<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>Test<\/strong> to confirm the connection, then <strong>Publish<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"is%20this%20secure%3F\"><h3>Is this secure?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Your login password is never sent. The app uses a WordPress Application Password \u2014 a separate, app-specific credential you can delete at any time from Users &rarr; Profile.
