The PDF rendering engine. https:\/\/mpdf.github.io\/<\/li>\n<li>Noto Sans JP \u2014 SIL Open Font License 1.1. The distribution ZIP already bundles the PDF library and the Japanese font, so <code>composer install<\/code> is not required.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that WooCommerce is active.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>WooCommerce &gt; Japanese Invoice PDFs<\/strong> and fill in your company name, address, and logo.<\/li>\n<li>Open any order from the admin and click the invoice button in the \"Japanese Invoice PDFs\" meta box.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>For developers: the distribution ZIP excludes <code>vendor\/mpdf\/mpdf\/ttfonts<\/code> via <code>.distignore<\/code>. If you run the plugin from source, run <code>composer install<\/code> first. The distribution ZIP can be rebuilt locally with <code>powershell -File bin\/build-zip.ps1<\/code>. The plugin shows an admin notice and disables itself when WooCommerce is not active.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20other%20people%20download%20my%20invoices%3F\"><h3>Can other people download my invoices?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Downloads from My Account require login, ownership of the order is enforced, and a nonce is verified.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"are%20pdfs%20stored%20on%20the%20server%3F\"><h3>Are PDFs stored on the server?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Every PDF is generated on demand and streamed to the browser, so there are no leftover files that could be linked directly.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"japanese%20characters%20look%20like%20garbled%20text\"><h3>Japanese characters look like garbled text<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The plugin bundles Noto Sans JP (OFL 1.1), so no extra setup is needed.
