A WordPress plugin to show a series of images as \u201cquick links\u201d with the shortcode [quick_links]<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n

By adding a line in your functions.php<\/code> file, you can set the size of the images (defaults to 500\u00d7300px). See the Installation section for more details.<\/p>\n\n

  • To include your own stylesheet, add a file named quick-links-styles.css<\/code> in your template folder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    1. Install the plugin<\/li>\n
    2. Look for the \u201cQuick Links\u201d item in the admin section and create as many as needed. Choose a featured image to be displayed, as well as entering a URL if it should link somewhere.<\/li>\n
    3. Display it one of two ways:\n\n
        \n
      1. Add the [quick_links]<\/code> shortcode in the page where you want the buttons to be displayed<\/li>\n
      2. Add the following line of code in a theme PHP file\nif ( function_exists( 'home_quick_links' ) ) { home_quick_links(); }<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/li>\n
      3. To change the size of the images, add this line of code in your theme\u2019s functions.php<\/code> file and edit the dimensions: add_image_size( 'home_quick_link', '500', '300' );<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
