This is the penultimate version of Related Posts by Categories and Tags.<\/strong> Contextual Related Posts v3.0.0 will incorporate all the functionality of this plugin.<\/p>\n\n

Related Posts by Categories and Tags<\/a> is an extension for Contextual Related Posts<\/a> that adds another degree of related posts matching by adding the option to restrict these related posts to the same category, tag or custom taxonomy.<\/p>\n\n

Additionally, you can also disable the contextual matching engine either on posts\/pages or on only custom post types.<\/p>\n\n

Requires Contextual Related Posts v2.6.0 or higher.<\/p>\n\n

WordPress install (the easy way)<\/h4>\n\n

  1. Navigate to Plugins within your WordPress Admin Area<\/p><\/li>\n

  2. Click \"Add new\" and in the search box enter \"Related Posts by Categories and Tags\"<\/p><\/li>\n

  3. Find the plugin in the list (usually the first result) and click \"Install Now\"<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    1. Download the plugin<\/p><\/li>\n

    2. Extract the contents of crp-taxonomy.zip to wp-content\/plugins\/ folder. You should get a folder called crp-taxonomy.<\/p><\/li>\n

    3. Activate the Plugin in WP-Admin.<\/p><\/li>\n

    4. Goto Settings » Related Posts<\/strong> to configure. You'll find two checkboxes under General Options<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
