What you can do with this plugin?: - Add more post types to main query ( home, author and other archive pages ) - Show only posts from specific categories or to exclude<\/p>\n\n\n

  2. Upload \"filter-main-query\" folder to the \"\/wp-content\/plugins\/\" directory<\/li>\n
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  4. To change the settings, go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Filter Main Query.<\/li>\n
  5. That's it!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    Why should I use this plugin?<\/h4>\n

    The default WordPress settings does not have the option to filter the main query, so this plugin brings the option to do so.<\/p>\n
