This is useful if multiple people share a single login, in which case using the profile name/email/website isn't appropriate.

Option to remove the website (URL) field from comment forms. In many cases this website field doesn't add any value, so this setting provides fewer fields and a cleaner user experience.

GUEST COMMENTS FEATURE

To configure this, open a user profile. Scroll down to see the new "Guest Comments" settings. There is an option to allow people logged in as this user to comment as a guest, ie: provide custom name/email/website information each time they post comments.

Since this setting allows people to provide information that doesn't match their profile, it can allow malicious impersonation if granted to untrustworthy users. For this reason, only Administrators can modify this setting.

Leave this setting OFF for user profiles that are only used by the named individual.

Consider turning this setting ON for user profiles that are shared by a team or by multiple people.

HIDE WEBSITE (URL) FIELD FROM COMMENTS FORM

To configure this, open the dashboard. Click Settings, and notice the new "Guest Comments" menu item. Click it. You will find a global setting to hide the website field. This setting applies to all users.

Arbitrary section

You may provide arbitrary sections, in the same format as the ones above. This may be of use for extremely complicated
plugins where more information needs to be conveyed that doesn't fit into the categories of "description" or
"installation." Arbitrary sections will be shown below the built-in sections outlined above.

From the Add New Plugins page in WordPress Dashboard, search for "guest-comments" plugin and install it.

Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Enjoy.

None yet...

0.3.3 (2013-04-07)

Flattened plugin directory structure

0.3.2 (2013-04-07)

Fixed typos in readme.

0.3.1 (2013-04-07)

Improved readme.
