Piflasa is a plugin for wordpress that makes it possible to insert a google picasa web album in your post as a flash slide show.<\/p>\n\n

This is the first public version of piflasa. Things i?m thinking about for the next version are: define background color, display foto titles on\/off, display album title on\/off, more to come..<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Unzip piflasa.zip<\/p><\/li>\n

  2. Edit piflasa.php as follow:<\/p>\n\n

    Define below you wordpress URL, for example if you installed wordpress on the following URL:<\/p>\n\n

    http:\/\/www.yourdomain.com\/wp\/<\/p>\n\n

    Change the setting to:<\/p>\n\n

    define(\"WP_DIR\", \"http:\/\/www.yourdomain.com\/wp\/\"); (DO NOT FORGET THE LAST SLASH)<\/p><\/li>\n

  3. Make a dir named 'piflasa' in you plugin dir and upload the the files:<\/p>\n\n

    piflasa.php\npiflasafeed.php\npiflasa.swf\npiflasasplash.php<\/p>\n\n

    Activate the plugin in your admin!<\/p><\/li>\n

  4. Include a piflasa album in your Wordpress post by the following tag:<\/p>\n\n

    [piflasa]FEEDURL|WIDTH[\/piflasa]<\/p>\n\n

    FEEDURL is the rss feed of your chosen picasa album\nWIDTH is the width in px of the piflasa window, the height will be calculated automaticly<\/p>\n\n

    So for example:<\/p>\n\n

    [piflasa]http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/data\/feed\/base\/user\/USERNAME\/albumid\/ALBUMID?kind=photo&alt=rss&hl=en_US|400[\/piflasa]<\/p>\n\n

    You can find the rss feed link at the bottom right of a picasa album.<\/p>\n\n

    DON'T FORGET THAT YOUR ALBUM MUST BE PUBLIC<\/p>\n\n

    You can give any size for the width, google is offering (as far as information goes) the following sizes:<\/p>\n\n

    1280, 1024, 800, 640, 400, 320, 288, 200, 144, 72<\/p>\n\n

    If you define an other size the size closest will be chosen and scaled in the flash object.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
