Foresight is designed to make it easier for administrators to\nkeep track of security vulnerabilities which exist within Wordpress and\nWordpress plugins. It does this by loading a tabbed display of known\nexploits into the Wordpress administrative backend. (It's available under\n'Tools' -> 'Foresight' in the admin side-bar.)<\/p>\n\n

Using the plugin is simple: when you log in to perform your various\nadministrative tasks, take a moment to browse through the known exploits.\nIf you see vulnerabilities in that plugins you use, take the appropriate\naction. (What's \"appropriate\" of course, will vary based off of several\nfactors, but may range from doing nothing to disabling the vulnerable\nplugin.)<\/p>\n\n

Misc<\/h3>\n\n

Know that the '1337Day' tab behaves slightly differently than the other\ntabs. Rather than loading Wordpress exploits by automatically, it will\nfirst require you to check a checkbox promising not to use the exploits\ncatalogued on the site for nefarious purposes. From there, you'll have\nto manually search for Wordpress exploits by clicking on the 'search'\nlink.<\/p>\n\n\n

You may install this plugin as you would any other:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Upload it to \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code><\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Why didn't you include `$my_preferred exploit tracker`?<\/dt>\n

    There are two possible reasons:<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    1. I'm unaware of it.<\/li>\n
    2. Your tracker is configured to disallow being loaded into an iframe.\n(Packet Storm<\/a> is among this category.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      If you'd like to see another tracker added to this plugin,\nlet me know<\/a>. If I agree that it\nshould be added in, I'll do so. If not, it should be pretty easy to hack\nit in yourself. Open-source FTW!<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
