ChatUp Everywhere allows you to make any element in your website be able to open a WhatsApp chat just adding a class to it.<\/p>\n\n

There are already a couple of great plugins which allows you to put a floating button to open WhatsApp chat and they offers to use a good amount of different buttons and even images, but sometimes it happened to me to find useful use a standard button to open a chat, or even a normal textual link. So I decided to develop this really simple but useful (to me) plugin and to share it with the WordPress community, hoping it could help someone else :)\nMarkdown parsed.<\/p>\n\n

In the settings page you can:<\/p>\n\n

- optionally choose a class name which will be used by the plugin to open a chat on click event (by default the class name will be chatup_everywhere)\n- Put the phone number linked to your WhatsApp where you want messages be sent\n- Optionally choose the default message the chat will be prefilled with (by default it is empty)\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n
The last thing you have to do is to add the chosen class to any element you want open a chat: it could be a menu item, a button, a textual link, an image, anything...<\/p>\n\n
That's all. When your visitors will click on that\/those elements the plugin will open WhatsApp if on mobile and WhatsAppWeb if on desktop\/laptop.<\/p>\n\n\n
Dashboard Method:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Login to your WordPress admin and go to Plugins > Add New<\/li>\n
  2. Type \u201cBetter Search Replace\u201d in the search bar and select this plugin<\/li>\n
  3. Click \u201cInstall\u201d, and then \u201cActivate Plugin\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
    Upload Method:<\/p>\n\n

    1. Unzip the plugin and upload the \u201cbetter-search-replace\u201d folder to your \u2018wp-content\/plugins\u2019 directory<\/li>\n
    2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
      And you're done!<\/p>\n\n\n
