It delays loading of images outside of the viewport (visible part of a web page). These images won’t be loaded before the user scrolls down to them. Using WPILL on long pages containing many large images makes the page load much faster. It will also reduce server load and save some bandwidth. Download the “wp-images-lazy-loading.zip” file. 2. Go to your WordPress administration dashboard. 3. Go to Plugins -> Add New. 4. Close to the top of the page, click the Upload link. 5. Press the Browse button and find the file you downloaded in the first step; normally“ wp-images-lazy-loading.zip”. 6. Press the Install Now button to continue. 7. Click on the Activate Now button. 8. Go to a page on your website and check if the images are lazy loading correctly. ## FAQ Is WPILL safe to use Yes, it writes absolutely nothing to the database and changes no files.
