WP Bodymovin

WP Bodymovin lets you use animations created in AfterEffects and exported as JSON files using the Lottie (Bodymovin) plugin.

Uploaded animations are called using a shortcode and can be previewed in the backend. Animations can be set to auto start/stop when entering/exiting the viewport to reduce CPU usage, and can also be lazy-loaded.

My animation doesn’t work

If your animation doesn’t work when loaded in the backend, make sure that it runs properly when previewed locally by using the html file generated by the Bodymovin AE extension (You can generate that by checking “Demo – Exports an html for local preview”). If it does work locally and it still doesn’t work in your WP backend, make sure there aren’t any javascript errors caused by 3rd party assets.

This seriously made my day. I'd been trying to read online tutorials (that never quite explained things properly, or worked at all) with no luck. Then this plugin comes into my life and just worked right out of the box. Bravo.

Bodymovin has saved me so much time and works flawlessly. I can't wait to see what features will be added to extend the functionality.

I love how easy this plugin is built in the front but still advanced in the back. Nice stuff like lazyload and more. Had some trouble setting it up but that was on my part, forgetting to put an echo before do_shortcode('[bodymovin ... ]');. Looked all over for someone with a similar problem but no answers found. Hope this helps someone in need. Keep it up develoved!

I'm jealous because i had the idea to make that plugin months ago but you did it haha. I was wondering if you accept some pull requests / improvements about the code? (if it's not the case, i'm going to make my own first plugin and hope that you don't mind some competition ;))
