#### Minimum Requirements

 * PHP 7.4 or greater is required (PHP 8.0 or greater is recommended)
 * MySQL 5.5.5 or greater, OR MariaDB version 10.1 or greater, is required
 * WordPress 7.0 or greater
 * (Recommended) WordPress [memory limit](https://woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/)
   of 256 MB or greater.
 * (Recommended) [HTTPS](https://woocommerce.com/document/ssl-and-https/) support.

#### Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option — WordPress will handle the file transfer,
and you won’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of WooCommerce,
log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu, and click “Add
New.”

In the search field type “WooCommerce,” then click “Search Plugins.” Once you’ve
found us, you can view details about it such as the point release, rating, and description.
Most importantly of course, you can install it by! Click “Install Now,” and WordPress
will take it from there.

#### Manual installation

Manual installation method requires downloading the WooCommerce plugin and uploading
it to your web server via your favorite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains

#### Updating

Automatic updates should work smoothly, but we still recommend you back up your 
site.

If you encounter issues with the shop/category pages after an update, flush the 
permalinks by going to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and hitting “Save.” That
should return things to normal.

WooCommerce update 11.1.0 – Endless scroll of fixes – because of the endless bugs.
They have NO concept of Quality! Woo was once pretty good. Now, it is endless bugs
and abysmal quality. 4 Stars for function (when it is working).1 Star for quality
releases.1 Star for Support. The worst experience I have ever had with any WordPress
related support. 5 weeks of misdirection! So bad, they even sent me an apology. 
It’s bad that they rely so heavily on AI for support – worse that humans don’t even
look to oversee it – and disastrous that they don’t give the AI current version 
information. That is totally bone-headed! I should not be surprised because the 
software too is released without thinking. Just look at the endless scroll of fixes
with release 11.1.0 What will break on my site this time?

I don’t have any idea why you’d ship a defunct MCP adapter (0.1) and have it autoload,
even if someone has the feature turned off in settings.However, you’ve broken one
of my client’s sites’ ability to utilize Zapier with their Formidable Forms because
Formidable ships its own MCP that is REQUIRED for their Formidable API use (they
are currently requiring 5.0<=6.0).Who knows what other API needs other sites have
that your darned autoloading is breaking.
