FAQ

I want to style the badge myself, how do I remove the default styles

There are only a couple of styles applied to the badge. Although not best practise it’s probably safe to just overwrite these with your own css. However, if you want to do it properly you can either dequeue the css:

add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'remove_product_badge_styles', 30 );
function remove_product_badge_styles() {
    wp_dequeue_style( 'wc-product-badge-stylesheet' );
}

A few suggestions

Please, note some of the following issues for you future plugin development:

– Keep up to semantic code. You insert your badges as <h3> elements, which they are not. Use <span> or <div>, not headings.

– Don’t use fonts you don’t provide. E.g. I don’t have ‘Helvetiva Neue’ on my laptop, which makes font: … ‘Helvetica Neue’ in your style.css a useless line of code.

So Simple!

I tried 2 others that conflicted with my plugins then I tried this one which worked like a charm, and SO SIMPLE to use… thank you guys!
