I can see the feature in the customizer but no changes reflected. Did not work!

Some functions work, but number of columns does not work.

The plugins changes the number of products per row and products per page, but the
layout is always set to 3 (the Storefront default). I see a question about this 
in the support, 6 days old without answer…
