WooCommerce Autocomplete Search Bar: This autocomplete search bar allows your users to search through all WooCommerce products, categories, tags, or taxonomy.

If the taxonomy option is enable only products that belong to the selected taxonomy will display in the searchbar.

This plugin will display using either a shortcode or widget.

Screenshots

  • Select an option type to display
  • Enter tag IDs if applicable
  • Display using a widget or use the shortcode [autocomplete_search_bar] to display where desire
  • Test the autocomplete search bar

Installation

  1. Upload the “Woo Autocomplete Search Bar” files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Use the Settings->Woo-Autocomplete screen to configure the plugin
  4. Display using the widget “Woo Autocomplete”, or shortcode [autocomplete_search_bar]

No, one can only select one targeted area to search through

Fast Effective Direction

Bless you, Gabriel. After a day of searching for a fast effective search plug-in, I found this. For websites that have a lot of products that don’t have the mega hosting that big companies do, this search is the best. All the rest are great if your hosting is top dollar. Otherwise, the search gets bogged down to a snail’s pace. This plug-in offers the fastest way for your customers to get to the product or section they want. Used with effective use of product categories or tags, the speed of this plug-in beats all the competition. I’m only giving this a 4 star because I would like to see more work done on it. To hell with it, Today he gets five-stars!!!
