Set quantity breaks on a product — buy 10 or more and save 5%, buy 50 or more and save 10% — and WooCommerce charges the right unit price automatically in the cart. Out of the box, WooCommerce has one price per product. Whether a customer buys one unit or five hundred, they pay the same unit price, and the only way to offer a volume deal is a coupon, a manual quote or a phone call. That leaves money on the table: shoppers who would happily have bought a case stop at a handful, and trade buyers who expect bulk rates go somewhere that shows them. This plugin adds quantity-based pricing directly to the product. You define tiers once in the product editor, a clear **bulk discount table** appears on the product page, and the cart applies the matching tier as soon as the quantity reaches it. There are no coupon codes to share, no discounts to remember, and nothing for the customer to do except increase the quantity. #### Live price update on the product page Customers see what they will pay before they add to cart. As the quantity box reaches a tier, the displayed price switches to the tier price, the regular price is shown struck through beside it, and the matching row in the pricing table is highlighted. It works on simple products and on the selected variation of variable products, and it uses your store’s own currency symbol, decimals and separators. #### Three ways to price each tier * **Percentage discount** — e.g. 10% off the unit price from 50 units * **Fixed discount per item** — e.g. 2.00 off each unit from 25 units * **Fixed price per item** — e.g. an exact unit price of 8.50 from 100 units Add as many tiers to a product as you need. In your WordPress admin go to Plugins Add New, search for “WMGRs Tiered Pricing”, then install and activate it. WooCommerce must be active. 2. Edit any product and open the **Tiered Pricing** tab in the Product data box. 3. Click **Add tier** and enter the from quantity, the tier type (percentage discount, fixed discount per item or fixed price per item) and the amount. Add as many rows as you need. 4. Update the product. The bulk discount table appears on the product page and the cart applies the matching tier automatically. 5. Optional: go to WooCommerce Tiered Pricing to rename the table title or hide the table. ## FAQ ### How do I add tiered pricing to a WooCommerce product? Edit the product, open the Tiered Pricing tab in the Product data box, click Add tier and enter a from quantity, a tier type and an amount. Save the product and the tiers are live — on the product page, in the cart and at checkout. ### How do I offer bulk or quantity discounts in WooCommerce without coupons? That is exactly what this plugin does. Tiers are attached to the product, so the discount is applied automatically when the quantity in the cart reaches the tier. Customers do not need a coupon code and cannot forget to use one. ### Which tier applies if several match? The highest “from quantity” that the cart line reaches. With tiers at 10 and 50, a quantity of 60 gets the 50+ tier and a quantity of 20 gets the 10+ tier. Below the first tier the normal price applies. ### What is the difference between the three tier types? Percentage discount takes a percentage off the unit price. Fixed discount per item takes a set amount off each unit. Fixed price per item ignores the product price and charges the exact unit price you enter. ### Does the price update on the product page when the quantity changes? Yes. When the quantity reaches a tier, the displayed price changes to the tier price with the regular price struck through, and the matching row in the pricing table is highlighted. It changes back if the quantity drops below the tier. ### Does it work with variable products? Yes. Variations inherit the tiers set on the parent product. On variable products the pricing table shows the discount for each tier (for example “10% off”), because the exact price depends on the variation chosen, and the live price updates for the selected variation. ### Can each variation have its own tiers? Not in the free version — every variation uses the parent product’s tiers. Per-variation tiers are planned for the premium version. ### Are quantities of different variations or products added together? No. Each cart line is priced on its own quantity. Twenty units of a medium T-shirt and twenty of a large are two lines of twenty, not one line of forty. ### Does the discount show in the cart and at checkout? Yes. The tier price is applied to the cart line, so the unit price, line subtotal, order total and order emails all reflect it. Changing the quantity in the cart re- prices the line immediately. ### Can I hide the pricing table or change its title? Yes. Go to WooCommerce Tiered Pricing. You can turn the table off entirely and still keep the tier prices in the cart, or rename the heading from “Bulk discounts” to anything you like, such as “Volume pricing” or “Buy more, save more”. ### Does it work with role based or wholesale pricing plugins? Yes. Percentage and fixed-discount tiers apply on top of the price the customer already sees, including role-adjusted wholesale prices, and the result is locked so the role discount is not applied a second time. Fixed-price tiers set the exact unit price. It is built to work with WMGRs Role Based Pricing for WooCommerce. ### Does it work with sale prices? Yes. Percentage and fixed-discount tiers are calculated from the price the product is currently selling at, so a product on sale gets the tier discount on top of the sale price. If you want an exact unit price regardless of any sale, use a fixed- price tier. ### Will it slow down my store? No. Tiers are stored as product meta with no extra database tables. The small live- price script and stylesheet load only on product pages that actually have tiers. ### Is it compatible with HPOS? Yes. The plugin declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage and works with both legacy and high-performance order tables. ### What happens to my tiers if I uninstall? Deleting the plugin removes its settings and the tiers saved on your products.
