## Description

Workbazr Simple Tracker for Google Analytics 4 lets site owners add their Google
Analytics 4 Measurement ID without editing theme files.

It includes an option to track or exclude users who are logged in to WordPress.

This plugin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.

### External services

This plugin connects to Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by 
Google, to load the Google tag and measure website traffic.

When a Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID is saved, this plugin loads the Google 
tag script from `googletagmanager.com` on public-facing pages where tracking is 
enabled.

Data sent may include:
 * Page views. * Browser and device information. * Referrer
information. * IP address as handled by Google Analytics 4.

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/wk-simple-ga4-tracker` directory,
    or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen.
 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
 3. Go to Settings > Workbazr Analytics Tracker.
 4. Enter your Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID and save.

### Does this plugin track logged-in users?

You can choose whether logged-in WordPress users are tracked. By default, logged-
in users are excluded.

### Is this plugin affiliated with Google?

No. This plugin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.
