# Wexofy Quick Order Status for WooCommerce

## Description

Moving an order along its statuses usually means opening it, finding the status 
box,
 changing it and saving — one order at a time. Wexofy Quick Order Status skips
that: the coloured status badge WooCommerce already shows in the orders list becomes
a dropdown you can change without leaving the screen.

 * Click the badge, pick a new status, it saves instantly over AJAX — no page reload.
 * Reads every status **WooCommerce itself** returns (`wc_get_order_statuses()`),
   so
    custom statuses added by your shipping, payment or subscription plugins show
   up automatically. Nothing is hard-coded.
 * Saves through the same `WC_Order::update_status()` flow as WooCommerce’s own 
   order
    screen, so status-change hooks, emails and stock adjustments other plugins
   rely on keep firing exactly as before.
 * A failed save reverts the dropdown to its previous value and shows why.
 * Works with classic (post-based) orders and High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
 * No settings screen — install it and the dropdown is just there.

The plugin is completely free and fully functional. It makes no external requests
and
 needs no account or licence key.

## Installation

 1. Plugins  Add New  search for “Wexofy Quick Order Status”, Install, Activate.
 2. Open **WooCommerce  Orders** — the status column is now a dropdown.

## FAQ

### Does it need WooCommerce?

Yes. It only adds the dropdown to the WooCommerce orders list.

### Does it send status-change emails and adjust stock?

Yes. It uses the same `WC_Order::update_status()` call as WooCommerce’s own order
screen, so everything hooked to a status change still runs.

### Does it work with HPOS?

Yes — both classic post-based orders and High-Performance Order Storage.
