The plugin never invents a rating. The AggregateRating markup is computed live from the reviews stored in your database, and nothing is output as long as no review has been saved. **Features** * Paste the raw text copied from your Google reviews panel. The plugin parses it and extracts the author, the rating, the review body and the relative date of each review. English and French relative dates are recognised. * Review, correct, add or delete reviews one by one from a standard admin screen. * A dedicated public page is served at `/customer-reviews/` by default. The slug is configurable. * A shortcode `[wscrg_reviews]` displays the list anywhere, with an optional `limit` attribute. * A genuine schema.org `AggregateRating` block, computed from the stored reviews( average, review count, 1 to 5 bounds), is printed in the `` of the reviews page. * A PHP function `wscrg_get_aggregate_rating()` is exposed so your theme or your SEO plugin can inject the same rating into its own `Organization` or `LocalBusiness` JSON-LD. * When WooCommerce is active, an optional store reviews block can be displayed on product pages that have no product review. It is clearly labelled as a store review, never as a product review, and it never emits `Review` or `AggregateRating` markup at product level. * Reviews are stored in a dedicated database table created on activation, not as posts or pages. The plugin works fully on a WordPress site without WooCommerce. This plugin is designed so that no rating can be produced without a stored review. ## Installation 1. Upload the `websource-customer-reviews-for-google` folder to `wp-content/plugins/`, or install the plugin from the WordPress plugin directory. 2. Activate the plugin from the Plugins screen. The reviews table is created automatically. 3. Go to **Customer Reviews > Settings** to set the title and the slug of the public page. 4. Go to **Customer Reviews > Import** to paste the text copied from Google, or to** Customer Reviews > Reviews** to enter them manually. 5. Visit `/customer-reviews/`, or the slug you chose, to see the public page. ## FAQ ### Does the plugin invent reviews or a rating if I have none? No. As long as no review is stored, no `AggregateRating` block is output and `wscrg_get_aggregate_rating()` returns null. ### Does the plugin connect to a Google API? No. You copy the review text from your own Google listing and paste it into the plugin. No API key, no external request, no paid service. ### How do I add the overall rating to the Organization JSON-LD of my theme? In your `functions.php` or in your SEO plugin: ``` $rating = wscrg_get_aggregate_rating(); if ( $rating ) { $organization_schema['aggregateRating'] = $rating; } ``` ### The parser misreads some reviews, what should I do? The format of the text copied from Google is not a guaranteed standard. After an import, always read through the list in **Customer Reviews > Reviews** and correct or delete anything that was misread. That is exactly what the manual screen is for. ### Does the store reviews block appear as a product review in search engines? No. It is displayed without any `Review` or `AggregateRating` markup at product level, so it can never be mistaken for a review of that specific product. ### Which languages does the date parser understand? Relative dates in English and in French, such as 3 months ago or il y a 3 mois.
