WooCommerce covers the basics of sale pricing, but a larger promotion quickly becomes repetitive: calculate each final price, update the products, then keep track of their schedules. Variable products add more work. Website Guy Promotions Manager brings that workflow into one screen. Choose products or brands, enter a percentage or fixed discount, preview the prices and set your dates. Return to the same screen to manage existing sales. #### Less calculation, less repetitive editing * Run larger promotions across selected products or entire brands. * Enter “20% off” or a fixed amount instead of calculating each sale price. * Include simple products and variable products, with a preview for each variation. * Check prices and skipped products before applying a promotion. * Schedule start and end dates, and find active, scheduled or expired sale prices. * Optionally replace “Sale!” with a saving percentage or amount on supported badges. Discounts are calculated from regular prices. A product-specific discount overrides a brand discount; the two never stack. Applying a promotion replaces existing sale prices and dates for valid targets. Ending a sale clears its sale price and dates; it does not restore a previous campaign. Want a storefront sale section too? Add `[wg_promotions auto="yes" columns="3"]` to show current sale products grouped by brand. Requires an active WooCommerce installation. Brand selection and grouped sale sections require WooCommerce product brands; individual product promotions work without them. Amounts use your store currency. Test a promotion on a staging site and review its preview before applying it to a live catalogue. Tested minimum: WordPress 6.7, PHP 8.2 and WooCommerce 10.0.0. Also tested with WordPress 7.1, PHP 8.3 and WooCommerce 11.0.1. Install and activate WooCommerce. 2. Upload the plugin ZIP through Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin, then activate Website Guy Promotions Manager. 3. Open WooCommerce > Promotions Manager. 4. Select products or brands, enter a discount and optional dates, then choose Preview discounts. 5. Review the results before choosing Apply discounts. ## FAQ ### How do I put several WooCommerce products on sale at once? Open WooCommerce > Promotions Manager and search for the products by name, SKU or ID. Set their discounts, preview the results and apply when ready. ### Can I discount an entire brand? Yes. Select one or more brands and set their shared discount. You can give a selected product its own discount to override the brand rule. Brand selection requires WooCommerce product brands. ### Can I enter 20% off instead of calculating the sale price myself? Yes. Choose % off and enter 20, or choose Fixed amount off and enter an amount in your store currency. The preview calculates sale prices from regular prices. Invalid discounts are skipped with a reason. ### Does it work with variable products? Yes. Select the variable product once, then expand its preview to check each variation’s price. Discounts use each eligible variation’s own regular price. Variations that cannot receive the discount are shown as skipped and left unchanged. ### Can I schedule a promotion to start and end automatically? Yes. Set start and end dates in your site’s timezone. Leave the start blank to begin immediately, or the end blank for an open-ended sale. WooCommerce handles scheduled price changes, so its scheduled tasks must be running normally. ### How do I manage products that are already on sale? Existing Sale Prices shows active, scheduled, expired or all configured sales, including variations. Applying a new promotion to a valid target replaces its current WooCommerce sale price and dates. End selected sales clears its sale price and dates. Regular prices remain unchanged. Version 1.0.0 has no campaign history or restoration of previous promotions. ### Can I show customers how much they are saving? Yes. Choose Use theme default, Save percentage or Save amount. Amounts use your store currency; variable products with different savings may show “Save up to”. This changes badges, not prices. Custom savings work with standard WooCommerce badges, Product Collection (WooCommerce 10+) and supported Astra cards (modern cards require WordPress 6.7+).
