Add a full-length screenshot of each website as the project image, and the card scrolls it from top to bottom when a visitor hovers over it, then resets when the mouse leaves. **Features** * Portfolio items with categories, client, project name, service, URL and date. * Responsive grid in a fixed-height frame; the full-length screenshot scrolls on hover. * Smooth, GPU-accelerated CSS animation. Scroll speed adapts to the screenshot length. * Respects the “reduce motion” setting and also works with keyboard focus. * Optional category filter and pagination, built with plain links (no JavaScript required). * Use it anywhere: the `[wspm_portfolio]` shortcode, a “Portfolio Grid” block, or a “Portfolio Grid” Elementor widget. * All global options live in one place: Portfolio > Settings. * Template files can be overridden from your theme. **Shortcode** ``` [wspm_portfolio items_per_page="9" category="web-design" show_filter="true"] ``` * `items_per_page` – number of items per page (1-48). Defaults to the value in Portfolio > Settings. * `category` – one or more category slugs or IDs, separated by commas. * `show_filter` – `true` or `false`. Defaults to the value in Portfolio > Settings. **Gutenberg and Elementor** The “Portfolio Grid” block and the Elementor widget render the same output as the shortcode and expose only the essentials (category, items per page, category filter). Everything else is configured in Portfolio > Settings. Each integration can be switched off there. The Elementor widget requires Elementor 3.5 or later. ## Blocks This plugin provides 1 block. * Portfolio Grid Display your portfolio items in a grid with full-page scroll- on-hover previews. ## Installation 1. Upload the `wahid-simple-portfolio-manager` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the plugin from the Plugins screen in WordPress. 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen. 3. Go to Portfolio > Add New. Set the Featured Image to a full-length screenshot of the website and fill in the details. 4. Add the grid to a page with the `[wspm_portfolio]` shortcode, the “Portfolio Grid” block, or the Elementor widget. 5. Optional: adjust defaults in Portfolio > Settings. ## FAQ ### How do I get a full-length screenshot of a website? Use any full-page capture tool, such as your browser’s developer tools (“Capture full size screenshot”), then upload it as the Featured Image. Tall PNG, JPG or WebP files all work. ### How tall is the preview frame? 260px by default. Change it with CSS, for example: `.wspm-portfolio { --wspm-frame- height: 340px; }` ### Does the hover effect work on touch screens? Touch devices have no hover, so the screenshot stays at the top. It also stays still for visitors who have enabled “reduce motion” in their system settings. ### Can I change the markup? Yes. Copy any file from the plugin’s `templates` folder to a `wspm` folder in your theme (for example `your-theme/wspm/card.php`). ### Can I change the URL slug? Yes. Use the `wspm_portfolio_rewrite_slug` filter. The default is `portfolio`. ### Will my content be deleted if I remove the plugin? No, not unless you tick “Delete all portfolio items, categories and settings” in Portfolio > Settings before deleting the plugin. ### The Elementor widget does not appear.
