Go to **Plugins Add New**. 2. Search for **Version Info Admin Bar**. 3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**. #### Manual installation 1. Download the plugin zip file. 2. Go to **Plugins Add New Upload Plugin**. 3. Select the downloaded zip file and click **Install Now**. 4. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu. #### After activation 1. Go to **Settings Version Information**. 2. Select which plugins you want to track. 3. Click **Save Settings**. 4. Check the top admin bar for the new **Versions** menu. ## FAQ ### Who can see the version information? Only logged-in users with the `manage_options` capability (administrators) can see the “Versions” menu and access the settings page. ### Can different administrators track different plugins? Yes. Plugin selection is stored per user, so each administrator can choose their own set of plugins to monitor. ### Does this plugin slow down my site? No. The plugin only runs in the admin area and admin bar, and it does not make any external requests or add anything to the front end for regular visitors. ### Does this plugin collect any data or phone home? No. All data (your plugin selections) stays in your own WordPress database as user meta. Nothing is sent to any external server. ### Will this work with my theme? Yes.
