Users do not need to retrieve and apply coupon codes. * Multiple Languages Supported: The verification process is localized in 8 languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. ### Adding the Student Discount Block to Your Cart Page After completing setup, you need to add the Student Discount block to your cart page so customers can see the verification button. 1. In the WordPress admin dashboard, go to Pages and open your Cart page for editing. 2. Click the + button to open the block inserter and search for “Student Discount”. 3. Click the Student Discount block to add it to the page. Place it where you would like the verification button to appear — typically above or below the cart contents. 4. The block will display a live preview of the button using the text configured in your plugin settings. You can update the button pre-text and button text directly from the block’s sidebar panel in the editor. 5. Save or update the page. Configure via Student Verification & Discounts settings. ## Installation 1. Install the plugin from the WordPress marketplace. 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in the WordPress admin dashboard. 3. Go to the plugin settings page, which can be found under the Plugins page of the WordPress admin dashboard. 4. Use the link displayed on the plugin’s setting page to obtain a Proxi.id API key. This key is required to be able to verify users. 5. Configure the discount rules according to your requirements, including the discount amount or percentage and the product categories to which the discount applies. 6. Save your settings. 7. Add the Student Discount block to your cart page (see instructions below). ## FAQ ### What is the API key for and how do I get one? An API key is required to communicate with the Proxi.id service and verify users. You can get an API key by signing up for the Proxi.id service by [clicking here](https://www.proxi.id/pricing). ### Do I need to pay for your service? All merchants get up to 10 verifications per month at no cost. If you complete more than 10 verifications in a month you will be invoiced. In some cases, we will collect information about your customers to help verify their academic status.
