I run a couple of personal sites, all running from a MU installation. I rarely visit the network admin screen, instead jumping to the dashboard for the specific site. Unfortunately, this means missing any updates that are available.
So, this is my saviour - install it, confirm the settings and now I get to see any updates on the dashboard of any of my sites. The links even take me to the correct page when clicked. Brilliant!
