## Description

Uikar Cinema Ticketing adds the tools needed to sell reserved cinema seats through
WooCommerce.

Features include:

 * Cinema hall and seat-layout management.
 * Movie, showtime, and WooCommerce product assignment.
 * Interactive seat selection through the `[wccb_seatmap]` shortcode.
 * Concurrency-safe temporary seat holds.
 * Booking management and ticket details in customer orders.
 * Automatic release of expired, failed, or cancelled reservations.
 * WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage compatibility.

The plugin does not contact third-party services or collect telemetry. Booking and
configuration data remain in your WordPress database.

### Privacy

The plugin stores booking records that may reference WordPress user IDs and WooCommerce
order IDs. It does not send this information outside the site. Site owners should
include cinema booking records in their own privacy and retention policies.

## Installation

 1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
 2. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the ZIP through **
    Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**.
 3. Activate **Uikar Cinema Ticketing for WooCommerce**.
 4. Open **Uikar Cinema Ticketing** in the WordPress dashboard.
 5. Create a movie, hall, and showtime, then assign a published WooCommerce product
    to the showtime.
 6. Add `[wccb_seatmap showtime_id="123"]` to a page, replacing `123` with the showtime
    ID.

## FAQ

### Is WooCommerce required?

Yes. Products, the cart, checkout, payment, and orders are handled by WooCommerce.

### Are seats permanently reserved before payment?

No. Seats are held temporarily for the duration configured under **Uikar Cinema 
Ticketing > Settings**. Successful orders mark the reservation as paid; failed and
cancelled orders release it.

### What happens to data when the plugin is deleted?

Booking data is retained by default to prevent accidental loss. To permanently remove
the plugin tables and options during deletion, define `WCCB_REMOVE_DATA_ON_UNINSTALL`
as `true` in `wp-config.php` before deleting the plugin.

### Does the plugin use an external service?

No. It makes no requests to an external API and includes no telemetry.
