Will this plugin work with my theme?

Most likely, yes, provided your theme has at least one post type that support thumbnails and custom fields

Pro-tip: If you use the .TUBE WordPress Theme we guarantee it’ll work seamlessly.

Why doesn’t the video appear on the post?

It’s possible your theme is outputting the post content in an unconventional way, for example not using “the_content()” on the single post page. In this case, you may need to use the [tube_video] shortcode to place videos in your posts.

How can I get an API key?

To use this plugin, you’ll need to create an API key with YouTube, Vimeo, or Twitch. The API Keys settings page includes instructions for how to get an API Key from each of these sites.

Good Plugin

Reliable and featureful plugin, easy to use.
But Lacks category management.

Couple Things Missing

I’d love for you to add facebook and/or dailymotion to this plugin. Other than that this is the only plugin that works flawlessly with my theme. The thumbnail auto generates to my homepage and I don’t need to take anymore steps!

It works. Thank You.

I’ve been looking for plugins with youtube import feature and this one are the only worked. Thankyou very much.

Works perfectly so far

I was looking for a way to import YouTube video playlists/channels into a custom post type and create tags automatically and this does it perfectly! There are a few minor features I’d like added which I think are necessary and I’ll make a forum post about those.

The code appears to be well written and has lots of comments. The author(s) have put a whole lot of work into this plugin. It feels very solid and so far appears to be bug free with importing videos from a YouTube channel. Nice work! Thank you for releasing it for everyone!
