Trusty is a free, secure and instant whistleblowing solution. It is web-based, compliant with the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive and the GDPR requirements, includes an integrated case management with two user accounts and secure reporting channels in Croatian, Czech, Finnish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, Polish and Swedish.
The solution is hosted on the virtual server in Germany. The data are not transferred to any third countries and remain encrypted in the EU in accordance with the GDPR requirements.
The solution consists of two parts.
The first part are the front-end webpages.
They are intended for potential whistleblowers. You will receive your individual link to these web pages after having opened your Trusty account. We suggest that you publish it on your website.
The front-end webpages are available in multiple languages and it is here where a whistleblower submits a report, enters her inbox and finds answers to the most common questions. When submitting a report the whistleblower is lead through questions, asking her to provide the most relevant information on the reported matter. The whistleblower may remain anonymous or may provide her details before or after submitting the report. In any case, once the report is submitted she receives automatically generated username and password. With them she can access her inbox, which allows her to stay in touch with your authorised case managers and follow her report in a secure way.
The second part of the solution is the case management tool, which is intended for the authorised personnel processing the reports. It is intuitive and easy to use. Besides classifying individual reports and managing conflict of interest, the users can also write notes and reports, upload files, send emails, securely communicate with whistleblowers and use numerous other features which make processing of the reports easier and simpler.](https://www.trusty.report/)
Installation

Why do we need a whistleblowing channel?

Trusty is web-based and consists of the front-end and the case management tool. The front-end is intended for reporting persons and leads them through the simple reporting process.
It also includes access to a reporting person’s individual inbox, which may be used for further secure communication between the company and the reporting person, if he or she would like to remain anonymous. The case management tool is intended for the persons who process the submitted reports.
Trusty includes two user accounts, which allows to securely and properly manage your internal reporting channel with minimum effort. Functionalities like documenting, sorting, writing memos, attaching files, setting reminders, communicating with a reporting person are all included. It is intuitive and very simple to use. -
Where is Trusty installed and how secure is it?

Trusty is installed on the virtual server in Germany, in a high-security data centre, certified to the ISO 27001 standard and provided by Hetzner Online GmbH.
We use advanced encryption techniques, state of the art Firewall and submit the application to regular penetration tests for security risks.

What languages are available?

The front-end webpages are available in Croatian, Czech, Finnish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, Polish and Swedish. You can change the language whenever you wish, with one click. The case management tool is available in English and German.

What happens after I sign up?

Your request will be swiftly reviewed as we seek to avoid fake or fictitious subscriptions. You will then receive an email with a web address of the application and login credentials for the initial user account.
Should you not receive any email from us in your inbox, please check your spam folder, just in case. The web address will be unique for your company. For example, the web address for the Best Company Limited would be https://bestcompany.trusty.report.
On the provided web address, you will find the front-end webpages. We suggest you publish a link to the address on your company’s home page or in any other way you seem fit. You can also log into the Case Management Tool at the same web address. For this you will need to enter the above-mentioned login credentials. On your first login, you will be required to change your password. -
Is it really for free?

Yes. Your subscription to Trusty is free of any charges. There are no set-up fees, subscription fees, termination fees, small text hidden fees, nor any other fees.
If it is for free, it cannot be good!
