Trust Teddy adds a gifting option to your WooCommerce checkout. Recipients choose whether to accept and provide their own delivery details upon acceptance. Your store fulfills the accepted gift. Your Privacy is Our Priority. #### How it works 1. **Choose Trust Teddy.** The customer selects Trust Teddy at checkout and completes the gift details. 2. **Invite the recipient.** A private invitation link allows the recipient to review and accept or decline the gift. 3. **Provide delivery details.** Upon acceptance, the recipient enters their shipping address. 4. **Fulfill the gift.** Your store receives the delivery information needed to prepare and ship the accepted gift. #### Features * **Gifting without an address:** Customers can purchase gifts without knowing where the recipient lives. * **Recipient choice:** Recipients decide whether to accept or decline. * **Recipient-provided delivery details:** Shipping information comes directly from the person receiving the gift. * **Gift status updates:** Follow recipient responses through your store’s order statuses. * **Merchant fulfillment:** Your store handles preparation and shipping. #### Getting started Install and activate Trust Teddy Connector for WooCommerce, then register your store through the Trust Teddy settings. Trust Teddy merchant approval is required before your store can process gifts. ### External services This plugin connects to Trust Teddy Core, a service operated by Trust Teddy at http:// testingbms.info:3100. Trust Teddy Core sends the gift invitation, hosts the recipient’s accept/decline and address pages, and returns the delivery details to your store. The plugin does not work without it. Data sent from your store to Trust Teddy Core: * **When you register your store:** your store’s URL and name, your WordPress admin email address, and your contact phone number (if entered). * **When you save the Trust Teddy settings:** your admin email address and contact phone number, to keep your contact details current. * **When the settings page or checkout loads:** your store’s Merchant ID, to check whether your store is approved. No customer data is sent. * **When a customer places a Trust Teddy order:** the order number, the items ( name, quantity, price and product image link), the order total and currency, and the buyer’s name, email address, phone number and customer account ID. * **When the customer completes the gift details:** the recipient’s name and phone number and/or email address, the buyer’s name, phone number and email address, and the optional gift message. Data sent from Trust Teddy Core to your store: * Gift status updates (invited, declined or expired), shown as order statuses. * When the recipient accepts: the recipient’s name and shipping address, saved to the order’s shipping details, and the gift message, saved as an order note. Trust Teddy uses this information to deliver the gift invitation and email/SMS status notifications to the buyer, the recipient and you. Payment card details are never sent to Trust Teddy; payment is handled by your store’s own payment gateway. Install and activate Trust Teddy Connector for WooCommerce (WooCommerce must already be installed and active). 2. Go to WooCommerce Settings Trust Teddy. 3. (Optional) Enter a Contact Phone in E.164 format (e.g. +15551234567) to also receive SMS notifications. 4. Click “Register with Trust Teddy Core”. 5. Wait for Trust Teddy to approve your store. Until then, the Trust Teddy option is not shown at checkout. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin require WooCommerce? Yes. WooCommerce must be installed and active on your WordPress website. ### Does Trust Teddy ship the gifts? No. Your store prepares and ships accepted gifts. Trust Teddy coordinates the gift invitation and address collection. ### Can I process Trust Teddy gifts immediately after installation?
