### External services

This plugin connects to external analytics services (Google Analytics and Meta/Facebook
Pixel) to track user interactions and conversions on your site.

Depending on your configuration, it will send page views, product interactions, 
and eCommerce purchase data (including order totals and product IDs) to these services
when users browse your storefront. This is required to provide conversion attribution
and remarketing capabilities.

The plugin does NOT store personal data in your local database. All tracking happens
client-side via your chosen analytics platform.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `tracesignals-conversion-tracking` folder to your plugins directory
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu
 3. Go to **TraceSignals** in the admin sidebar
 4. Enter your Measurement ID
 5. Check the enable box and click Save

## FAQ

### Do I need an analytics account?

Yes. You should have an account with a supported analytics provider.

### Is this privacy compliant?

The plugin uses standard data anonymization by default. You are responsible for 
managing user consent according to your local regulations.

### Does this slow down my site?

No. The tracking scripts load asynchronously and are extremely lightweight.
