## Description

Titanium Site Watch monitors WordPress website health and availability, with a dedicated
11-check WooCommerce Health system for stores. Local checks work without a paid
plan; connected plans add scheduled monitoring, downtime alerts and store health
alerts.

Free local tools include WordPress/database, maintenance, AJAX/runtime and SSL checks;
Selected WordPress Pages; required text or Element ID checks; and signed-in/member-
only checks using a local Monitoring test user. Passwords, persistent login cookies,
private HTML, screenshots and WordPress user identity are not sent.

WooCommerce monitoring is built in. When WooCommerce is active, every plan can run
an eleven-check local WooCommerce Health diagnostic covering WooCommerce core, database,
products, cart, add to cart, checkout, payments, shipping, order flow, store email
and background scheduler. The diagnostic uses an isolated temporary WooCommerce
context and read-only operational checks. It does not create or change a customer
cart/session, order, payment or email, contact a payment processor, calculate carrier
rates or change stock.

Paid plans monitor public availability, HTTP status and response time externally
and, depending on plan, can schedule the same local page, content, protected-page
and WooCommerce checks. Confirmed website downtime and eligible WooCommerce Health
Problems can alert by email, Telegram or Discord, with recovery handling after successful
checks. WooCommerce state remains separate from website uptime, so a store-health
problem does not falsely mark the whole website as down.

If Titanium Error Intelligence is active, Site Watch can display its compact public
summary and use privacy-safe critical-error event data for configured alerts. Raw
logs, stack traces, SQL queries and absolute server paths are not sent.

No advertising, behavioural tracking or automatic public credits are added. Optional
Site Watch badges appear only when explicitly placed.

## Installation

 1. Install and activate Titanium Site Watch.
 2. Open Site Watch in the WordPress admin menu.
 3. Run a local WordPress check and configure optional page/content checks.
 4. If WooCommerce is active, run WooCommerce Health.
 5. Optionally connect Website Down Watch for scheduled monitoring and alerts.

External monitoring requires HTTPS. If a firewall restricts the WordPress REST API,
allow the path containing `titanium-site-watch`; the private Site Watch key remains
required.

## FAQ

### Do local checks require a Website Down Watch account?

No. Local checks work without an account or monitoring-service request. The SSL
diagnostic may open a short TLS connection to this site’s own HTTPS host so WordPress
can inspect the certificate. Monitoring starts only after an administrator connects
a plan. Price loading, USD conversion and checkout require separate actions.

### What does the WooCommerce Health diagnostic check?

It checks WooCommerce core, database, products, cart, add to cart, checkout, payments,
shipping, order flow, store email and background scheduler. It uses an isolated
temporary cart/session context where functional validation is needed and read-only
checks for operational configuration. It never submits checkout or creates an order,
payment or email.

### How are protected pages checked?

The administrator selects a local Monitoring test user. Site Watch performs a short-
lived internal WordPress loopback as that user and returns only a compact result.
The user ID, credentials, login cookies and protected HTML remain local to WordPress.

### Does one failed automatic request immediately send an alert?

No. State-based monitoring uses the selected Fast, Balanced or Cautious confirmation
mode before opening a Problem incident. Warning and warning-recovery states remain
visible in the dashboard and do not send notifications. Recovery is recorded after
a successful check.

### How do the public status shortcodes work?

[titanium_site_watch_badge] and `[titanium_site_watch_logo]` are optional linked
status badges. Nothing is added to the public site automatically. The LED reflects
the latest synchronized automatic monitoring state, and the visitor browser does
not call the monitoring API.

### Does uninstalling cancel a paid subscription?

No. Disconnecting or uninstalling the plugin is separate from subscription cancellation.
Manage the subscription through the Website Down Watch account/service.

### Which external services does Titanium Site Watch use?

Titanium Site Watch can use the services below. Local checks do not require them
unless stated.

**Website Down Watch monitoring API** — `https://site-watch-api.adminplugins.com`

Used only after monitoring is connected. It can receive the license key, generated
site UID/private service keys, site URL/title, configured public URLs, alert recipients,
intervals and opaque local check IDs/types. Scheduled local checks return compact
PASS, FAIL or INCONCLUSIVE results and safe metadata.

Service: https://websitedownwatch.com/
 Terms: https://websitedownwatch.com/terms/
Privacy: https://websitedownwatch.com/privacy-policy/

**Website Down Watch alert-channel service** — `https://site-watch-api.adminplugins.
com/channels`

Used to connect/test Telegram or Discord on supported plans. It stores the Telegram
chat ID/display label or an encrypted Discord webhook and sends configured alerts.
It does not receive WordPress passwords, login cookies, private HTML, screenshots
or WordPress user identities.

Service: https://websitedownwatch.com/
 Terms: https://websitedownwatch.com/terms/
Privacy: https://websitedownwatch.com/privacy-policy/

**Telegram Bot API**

Used only after an administrator explicitly connects a private Telegram chat. Telegram
processes the chat/account information supplied by Telegram, alert text and normal
network metadata.

Terms: https://telegram.org/tos
 Privacy: https://telegram.org/privacy

**Discord incoming webhooks**

Used only after an administrator supplies a Discord webhook and connects a supported
plan. Discord processes webhook requests, alert text and normal network metadata.

 Privacy: https://discord.com/privacy

**Website Down Watch pricing service** — `https://site-watch-api.adminplugins.com/
pricing`

Contacted only after price loading is enabled. It returns public GBP plan prices
and active introductory discounts. The request does not intentionally include the
site URL, license key, monitored URLs, recipients or WordPress users.

Service: https://websitedownwatch.com/
 Terms: https://websitedownwatch.com/terms/
Privacy: https://websitedownwatch.com/privacy-policy/

**European Central Bank exchange-rate data** — `https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/
eurofxref/eurofxref-daily.xml`

Contacted only after Show prices in USD is clicked. The plugin reads daily GBP/USD
reference rates for an estimated conversion and does not persist the rate.

**Freemius Checkout and licensing** — `https://checkout.freemius.com/js/v1/`

Website Down Watch uses Freemius for purchases, subscriptions and licensing. Checkout
JavaScript loads only after an administrator clicks a checkout button. Required
license/installation data is processed when a paid site is connected, disconnected
or verified.

Terms: https://freemius.com/terms/
 Privacy: https://freemius.com/privacy/

**Postmark**

Website Down Watch uses Postmark to deliver configured email alerts. The WordPress
plugin does not receive or store the Postmark API token.

### What privacy information does Titanium Site Watch process?

Titanium Site Watch stores its settings and compact check/history data locally in
WordPress. External data transfer occurs only for the explicitly enabled service
functions described above. Paid monitoring connection, configuration and result
data stored locally are preserved during a temporary inactive subscription state
while paid monitoring access is suspended. A temporary inactive subscription suspends
paid monitoring without deleting the saved website identity, configuration or local
history, so the same connection can resume after renewal. Disconnecting the website
or permanent remote removal permanently removes the saved paid monitoring data for
that connection; Free-only local data can remain. Uninstall removes local plugin
data only when the administrator enables the deletion setting.

Titanium Site Watch also adds suggested disclosure text under Settings > Privacy
> Policy Guide so site administrators can adapt it for their own privacy policy.
