## Description

**termeo** is appointment booking for the beauty industry: cosmetics,
 hairdressers&
barbers, nail studios, spa & massage and podiatry. Treatments, working hours, staff
and client records live in one place: in your studio. This plugin brings the booking
form to your own WordPress website.

It works just as well for physiotherapy, tattoo studios, dog groomers or
 veterinary
practices, because you define services, durations and times yourself.

Your clients book without leaving your site. You do not need a second
 appointment
book.

#### What this plugin does

It is the display, not the appointment management:

 * **One shortcode.** Put `[termeo]` on a page, done. Several per page work too.
 * **Fetches the booking form from your studio.** Treatments, prices, free slots

and your team come from there, fresh on every page view; there is nothing to
   maintain here.
 * **Looks the way you want.** Colours, layout and icons of the form are set in

your studio, matching your website or deliberately different. Your website does
not recolour the form, and the form changes nothing on your website.
 * **Stores nothing.** Only your studio’s address and key stay in WordPress. No

   client data, no appointments.

#### What your termeo studio does

Booking, scheduling and notifications happen there, not in WordPress:

 * **The whole booking flow.** Treatment, extras, staff member, date, time,
    details,
confirmation. With voucher codes, if you issue any.
 * **Your studio calculates free slots** from working hours, holidays, special

days and appointments already taken. You maintain no slot lists.
 * **Multiple treatments** are scheduled as one contiguous appointment,
    including
   changeover time between areas.
 * **Confirmation and reminder** are sent by your studio, not by WordPress.
 * **Client records, calendar and statistics** stay where you keep them anyway.

#### Privacy, specifically

 * **Fonts come from the plugin, not from Google.** Whoever opens your site
    leaves
no trace at Google just because a font is loaded. This cannot be switched by
accident; the plugin knows no other way.
 * **No third-party services.** The plugin loads nothing from advertising or
    analytics
services and from no other foreign server. It only talks to your studio, whose
   address you enter yourself.
 * **No visitor data to us.** What a client types into the form goes to your
    studio.
In addition, the plugin reports to your studio which version is installed here,
so you can see in your studio whether an update is due.

#### External service

This plugin is the display for termeo and **requires a termeo studio**.
 Without
a studio address and key it shows nothing. termeo is a paid service with a trial
period; the plugin itself is free and unlocks nothing.

When a page with the shortcode is opened, the form in your visitor’s browser
 requests
your studio’s treatments, free slots and settings; when a booking is submitted,
the entered data goes there.

## Installation

 1. Install and activate the plugin.
 2. Open **Settings termeo**. No termeo studio yet? A button there takes you to the
signup, and afterwards you come back here.
 3. **Enter address and key.** Both are in your studio (its admin is in German) under
_Einstellungen Online-Buchung_, card _Auf meiner WordPress-Website_. The page
checks them right away and tells you your studio’s name once it worked.
 4. **Allow this website in your studio**, on the same card. Without that entry the
browser blocks the requests and the form stays empty.
 5. Put the **shortcode `[termeo]`** on the page where bookings should happen.

## FAQ

### Do I need a termeo account?

Yes. The plugin shows your studio’s booking form; without a studio there is
 nothing
to show. You start the signup right from the settings page.

### The form does not appear. What is wrong?

Almost always the allow list: your website must be entered in your studio
 under
_Deine Website freigeben_, otherwise the browser refuses the requests. The plugin’s
settings page tells you whether address and key are correct. It cannot check the
allow list, because that is decided only in your visitor’s browser.

### Does the plugin store anything in my WordPress?

Only your studio’s address and key, no client data and no appointments.
 Deleting
the plugin removes those two as well.

### Can I have several booking forms on one page?

Yes, the shortcode works any number of times. All of them show the same
 studio.

### Does the plugin load fonts from Google?

No, never. The font files are part of the plugin and are served by your own
 server.

### Does the form look like my website?

If you want it to. Colours, layout and icons are set in your studio, matching
 your
website or deliberately different. If you know your way around your website’s design,
you can fine-tune the colours there as well, for example:

    ```
    .termeo-widget { --brand-primary: #7a5c3e; }
    ```

### Does it work with caching plugins?

Yes. The form fetches free slots only after the page has loaded, so even a
 cached
page shows current appointments.
