The Free version includes the complete functional and safety-critical bridge: * Routes supported MailPoet mail through WordPress `wp_mail()`. * Preserves supported message content and headers required by the bridge. * Protects against recursive re-entry. * Handles recipient-specific and broader send failures safely. * Applies compatibility safeguards and fails closed when the required MailPoet integration path cannot be used safely. * Provides useful bridge status in WordPress admin. No paid license is required for the bridge itself. #### Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Pro Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Pro adds optional assurance and troubleshooting tools around the same bridge: * Test My MailPoet Stack * Bridge Setup Check * Send Path Inspector * Configuration Drift Detection * Detailed compatibility and health information * Bridge heartbeat and activity assurance * Recent Bridge Issues * Advanced diagnostics * Sanitized Support Report * Direct email support Pro is not required for MailPoet-to-`wp_mail()` routing, message/header preservation, recursion protection, safe failure handling, or compatibility fail-closed protection. #### What Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is not Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is not an SMTP service and does not replace your existing WordPress mail or SMTP plugin. It does not store or configure your SMTP credentials, manage SPF/DKIM/DNS authentication, manage sender reputation, or guarantee provider acceptance, email delivery, or inbox placement. Release validation includes PHP 8.2 and PHP 8.4. The officially tested MailPoet range for Tech Dragon Mail Conduit 1.0.0 is MailPoet 5.38.0 through 5.39.0 inclusive. A MailPoet version outside that tested matrix may still pass the plugin’s structural compatibility safeguards, but it is not automatically considered officially tested. ## Installation 1. Install and activate Tech Dragon Mail Conduit. 2. In MailPoet, configure the supported Web Host / PHPMail sending method. 3. If you want MailPoet messages handled by an SMTP/API mailer, make sure your existing WordPress mail or SMTP plugin is already configured normally. 4. Open the Tech Dragon Mail Conduit admin page and verify the bridge status. 5. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Pro users may optionally run Test My MailPoet Stack and the additional validation tools. Do not configure SMTP credentials in Tech Dragon Mail Conduit. Provider credentials belong in your existing WordPress mail or SMTP plugin. ## FAQ ### What does Tech Dragon Mail Conduit do? It routes supported MailPoet messages from MailPoet’s Web Host / PHPMail sending path into WordPress `wp_mail()`. Your existing WordPress mailer can then handle the downstream mail path. ### Is Tech Dragon Mail Conduit an SMTP plugin? No. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is a bridge into the WordPress mail pipeline. It does not provide its own SMTP transport or email service. ### Does it replace my existing SMTP or mail plugin? No. It is designed to work with the WordPress mail setup you already use.
