SysRidge Stock Sync keeps one stock number in both places. * **Counter sale website:** a sale, return or stock count in Square updates your WooCommerce stock within seconds. * **Web order Square:** every WooCommerce stock change (orders, refunds, cancellations, edits) is sent to Square. * **No double counting:** changes are sent as adjustments, not overwrites, so a sale at the counter and a sale online at the same moment both count. * **Matched by SKU:** products and variations (sizes, colours) are matched by SKU, ignoring upper/lower case. SKUs that don’t match are listed so you can fix them. * **Choose your starting point:** copy Square’s stock to WooCommerce, or WooCommerce’s stock to Square, once. After that, changes flow both ways. * **Safety check:** an hourly check catches anything a notification missed, and new products are matched daily. * **Clear log:** every change is recorded in WooCommerce Status Logs, with where it came from. SysRidge Stock Sync does not process payments and does not need Square’s payment plugin. If you use the WooCommerce Square plugin for payments, turn off its product and inventory sync, because two syncs at once would count every sale twice. **Need more?** SysRidge Stock Sync syncs one Square location and is complete on its own. Nothing is sent until you click Connect Square. **Square APIs** (Block, Inc.) — https://connect.squareup.com Used to read your items, locations and stock counts and to update stock. Sent: your Square access token, catalog item IDs, location ID and stock quantities. Square’s terms: https:// squareup.com/legal/general/ua — privacy: https://squareup.com/legal/general/privacy **SysRidge connection service** — https://n8n.sysridge.com.au/stock-sync/ Holds SysRidge Stock Sync’s Square application secret (which can’t be published in plugin code) and forwards Square’s stock and catalogue-change notifications to your store. Sent: the one-time authorisation code and refresh token when connecting or renewing access (passed to Square, not stored), your store address and a random notification secret (stored so notifications reach your store; deleted when you disconnect). Install and activate SysRidge Stock Sync (WooCommerce required). 2. Go to WooCommerce SysRidge Stock Sync and click **Connect Square**, then approve access on Square’s screen. 3. Check the Square location, click **Match products**, then choose **Use Square stock** or **Use WooCommerce stock** once. Products need the same SKU in Square and WooCommerce, with stock managed per product or per variation. ## FAQ ### Which stock does it sync? The stock of one Square location (you choose which) and your WooCommerce stock. ### What happens if a SKU is missing on one side? That product is skipped and listed on the settings page. Nothing else changes. ### My variable product shares one stock for all sizes. Turn on stock management for each variation. One shared count can’t follow several Square variations. ### Does SysRidge see my orders or customers? No. SysRidge Stock Sync only reads items and stock.
