### 󠀁[TOOK OVER MY ENTIRE SITE – 0/5 STARS](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/took-over-my-entire-site-05-stars/)󠁿

 [medinah](https://profiles.wordpress.org/medinah/) November 18, 2016

At first I added the Swifty Content Creator and Page Manager, which would not show
up anywhere on my dashboard or pages to allow me to edit anything. It also failed
to install the recommended forms plugin, which didn’t seem useful to me anyhow.
Then I installed the ‘Swifty Site Creator’ plugin from the website (thinking this
would allow the plugins to function) which failed to install. Then I installed the‘
SwiftySite’ plugin, which upon installing took over my entire site – As in added
a new theme, and erased all of my content and pages; loading a blank ‘no content’
message in place of my pages. When I de-activated all of the Swifty plugins, my
pages were visible on my dashboard however they would only load as blank pages.
Needless to say, I had to backup my wordpress site from my hosting provider and
lost several hours of work. I was never under the impression that I was downloading
an entire theme or a plugin which would override my entire site in the manner in
which it did. I’m sure this plugin is very useful when setting up a new page, but
I do not appreciate the experience I had with this plugin. I was already getting
a headache with the installation process, and that was before I had realized what
happened; followed by a panic attack when I saw what it did.

### 󠀁[Great total solution for non-tech WordPress users](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/great-total-solution-for-non-tech-wordpress-users/)󠁿

I have installed this plugin, expecting to find just another front-end editor as
there are already many on the market. I was in for a big surprise! Swifty provides
an interface suitable for both non-technical users and also for more advanced users.
It makes it possible for admins to provide an interface for their users that keeps
them away from the WordPress backend/admin panel. Great when you want to keep your
clients from “distroying stuff”. Just keep the client focused on creating content
and have them not worry about technical stuff. Thumbs up for the developers! This
is a plugin I have been waiting for. Many of my clients will love this. Have shown
it to several clients in the last few days and they can not wait to start working
with it!
