## Description

SuperVideo brings online video meetings to your WordPress website through the SuperVideo
video conferencing service. Create meeting rooms, embed video calls in your pages
and invite participants using room links on your own website.

Administrators can schedule appointments, manage waiting rooms, admit guests and
access available recordings from the WordPress dashboard. Assign operators their
own rooms for customer consultations, remote support sessions and team meetings.

Features include:

 * Create, end and reactivate meeting rooms.
 * Embed an existing room using [supervideo_sala room_id=”YOUR_ROOM_ID”].
 * Schedule meetings and optionally send invitations through SuperVideo.
 * View recordings, transcripts and summaries when available on your account.
 * Manage the waiting room and admit or deny guests.
 * Assign the Operador SuperVideo role to give a WordPress user a personal room
   and branding area.

A SuperVideo account and API key are required. The WordPress plugin is free software.
The external service has its own plans, limits and charges; availability of recording,
transcription, AI summaries and other features depends on your account. See https://
supervideo.com.br for account and plan information.

#### Video meetings on your website

 * Host scheduled client meetings and consultations using a room embedded in a WordPress
   page.
 * Share a meeting room link on your website so visitors can join the video call.
 * Give team members a personal operator room and branding area.
 * Keep guests in a waiting room until an administrator admits them.

#### External services and privacy

This plugin relies on the SuperVideo service, operated by Fato Social. Before it
connects, a WordPress administrator must enable the external-service checkbox in
SuperVideo > Configurações and save an API key. Activation alone does not contact
SuperVideo. Existing installations upgrading to 1.1.6 must also enable this setting.
Disabling it stops new plugin API requests and rendering of meeting embeds; it does
not erase data already held by the service or terminate existing calls.

The plugin communicates with:

 * https://supervideo.fatosocial.xyz — authenticated API requests and live waiting-
room connections. Requests occur when connected administrators open the plugin
dashboard or use its actions, and when operators use their personal room area.
The server receives the API credential, site IP address and data needed for the
requested operation: room IDs/titles/settings, appointment times, guest names,
email addresses and optional phone numbers, invitation preferences, operator
names/emails/passwords and branding settings. The master API key stays on the
WordPress server; live browser connections use a temporary token.
 * https://supervideo.com.br — meeting embeds and the official service SDK, loaded
when someone opens a configured meeting page after the administrator has enabled
the service. The service receives the visitor’s IP address, browser information,
room identity and participant information entered for the meeting. Camera, microphone
and screen sharing require browser permission. Audio/video, recordings, transcripts
and AI summaries are processed by the service according to the selected meeting
   features and account plan.

Assigning the Operador SuperVideo role creates or reactivates a service operator
account. This sends the WordPress user’s display name and real email (as part of
the display name), a generated service login based on the site domain/user ID, and
a generated password. Changing the role away deactivates that service operator.
This does not send the user’s WordPress password.

Configured signed webhooks send waiting-room events from SuperVideo to this site’s/
wp-json/supebyfa/v1/webhook endpoint. Local tables store room references, titles,
meeting URLs, WordPress user/post IDs, guest names, socket identifiers, statuses
and timestamps. WordPress options hold credentials, preferences and short-lived
API caches. User metadata holds operator mappings and theme preferences.

Deleting the plugin removes its local tables, settings, caches and user metadata.
WordPress pages created by the plugin and data held by SuperVideo (including rooms,
recordings and operator accounts) are retained. Manage those in WordPress and SuperVideo
before uninstalling if you want them removed. Deactivation retains settings.

The plugin does not add separate analytics or advertising tracking. Its admin scripts,
Socket.IO library and styles are bundled locally. Links to registration, account
upgrades, terms and privacy open only when clicked. Site administrators are responsible
for informing participants about their use of the service and recording features.

## Installation

 1. Upload the supervideo-by-fato-social folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install
the ZIP through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
 2. Activate SuperVideo.
 3. Open SuperVideo > Configurações. Review the external-service disclosure and enable
    the authorization checkbox.
 4. Create a SuperVideo account if needed. Generate an API key in the service’s developer
dashboard, paste it into the plugin and save settings. Grant the scopes required
for the features you use, including account/usage reads for the dashboard.
 5. Use Testar Conexão, then create a room in the Salas tab.
 6. Paste [supervideo_sala room_id=”YOUR_ROOM_ID”] into a page, or share the room link
shown by the plugin. Use HTTPS for camera and microphone access.
 7. Optionally configure a webhook in SuperVideo pointing to https://YOUR-SITE/wp-json/
supebyfa/v1/webhook and save its signing secret under the plugin’s developer-mode
    settings.

Use a single-site WordPress installation. Network activation on Multisite is not
supported in this release; activate and configure separately on each site.

## FAQ

### Can I use this without a SuperVideo account?

No. This is a client for the external SuperVideo service, which provides the video
calls and associated features.

### Can visitors join video meetings on my WordPress website?

Yes. Embed a configured room with the shortcode or share its room link on your site.
Calls are provided by SuperVideo. Browser permission is required for camera and
microphone access.

### Does activation send data to SuperVideo?

No. An administrator must explicitly authorize the service and configure an API
key. Meeting pages connect visitors only after that authorization. Review the External
services and privacy section before connecting.

### How do I embed an existing room?

Use [supervideo_sala room_id=”YOUR_ROOM_ID”]. The optional width and height attributes
control its dimensions. The legacy shortcode without a room ID can create a room
only when an authorized editor opens its associated post; public visitors cannot
create rooms.

### Why is the connection disabled after upgrading?

Version 1.1.6 introduces explicit external-service authorization. Go to SuperVideo
> Configurações, review the disclosure, enable the checkbox and save. Your existing
API key is retained.

### Does uninstalling delete my recordings or WordPress pages?

No. It removes local plugin data only. Pages and content in your SuperVideo account
remain until you remove them separately.

### Where is the source of bundled third-party code?

Socket.IO client 4.8.4 is included as readable JavaScript in assets/vendor/socket.
io.js under the MIT license (included alongside it). Upstream: https://github.com/
socketio/socket.io/tree/socket.io-client%404.8.4/packages/socket.io-client . Distribution
source: https://registry.npmjs.org/socket.io-client/-/socket.io-client-4.8.4.tgz.

The remotely loaded SuperVideo SDK is part of the documented SuperVideo conferencing
service. All plugin PHP, JavaScript and CSS sources are included in this package.
