The plugin is free. Local HTTPS, software-version and telemetry checks work without an account. The connected Free plan does not expire and requires no card: one store, availability every 15 minutes, email incident and recovery alerts, 30 checkout checks per UTC calendar month and seven days of detailed history. Paid subscriptions add frequency, history, payment-health signals and agency features. The hosted monitoring service is separate from the GPL plugin. No telemetry is sent until an administrator connects and explicitly consents. Transmissions include site URL, WordPress/PHP/WooCommerce versions, plugin updates and heartbeats. Payment-health plans additionally send pseudonymous order status signals and aggregate counts. Customer names, addresses, card numbers and raw order identifiers are excluded. Scheduled transmissions use a bounded local queue and WP-Cron. This directory build uses the standard WordPress.org update system. It does not contain an external updater or download executable code from StoreCalm. The plugin settings, consent text and notices are available in English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian Bokmål, Norwegian Nynorsk, Icelandic, Finnish, German and French. Translations are included in the plugin and follow your WordPress user language, falling back to the site language. The hosted StoreCalm dashboard and service website are currently in English. The hosted service runs availability and checkout- readiness checks outside your WordPress server, stores their results and delivers alerts. These substantial hosted services require a StoreCalm account; the local checks remain free without an account or time limit. Only after an administrator submits a connection code and checks the consent box, this plugin calls https://storecalm.com/api/connectors/pair with the code and site URL. The service checks the short-lived public ownership proof at /wp-json/storecalm/ v1/verify. Once connected, scheduled signed requests send the documented telemetry to https://storecalm.com/api/connectors/{workspace}/{store}/events. Sites intentionally configured for our isolated staging service use the equivalent staging.storecalm. com endpoints. The service receives the server IP as part of HTTPS communication. Queue records are kept locally for up to seven days and trimmed to approximately 1,000 rows during scheduled delivery. Disconnect removes local queued data and stops future transmissions. Deactivation stops the scheduled task. Uninstall removes the plugin configuration and queue. To stop independent remote checks or erase cloud data, use the StoreCalm dashboard or contact support. Simple and variable products, classic and Blocks checkout, desktop and mobile Chromium. Custom themes, gateway plugins and checkout extensions can need separate validation. Payment snapshots inspect at most 251 orders, exclude known offline payment methods and report incomplete coverage explicitly. ## Installation 1. Install and activate StoreCalm Connector. For a downloaded ZIP, use Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin. 2. Create a free StoreCalm account, confirm your email and add your exact store root URL. 3. Generate a connection code in the StoreCalm dashboard. 4. Open Settings > StoreCalm in WordPress, paste the code, consent and choose Connect store. Codes expire in ten minutes and work once. 5. Add an in-stock product URL in StoreCalm for checkout-readiness monitoring. 6. Use a reliable server cron every five minutes for timely telemetry on low-traffic sites. ## FAQ ### Does it place orders? No. Checkout checks use an anonymous cart and stop before order submission or payment processing. They do not verify a successful live payment. ### What happens when I cancel? Paid service continues through the paid period, then the workspace falls back to Free limits. No card is needed for Free. ### How do I disconnect? Choose Disconnect this plugin under Settings > StoreCalm, or deactivate the plugin. Deactivation stops scheduled transmissions. Remote checks can be paused in the StoreCalm dashboard.
