They can disappear later, slow down your page, and hurt your SEO. **Stinoment Auto Image Uploader** fixes this in one step. As soon as you paste content that contains external images, a small window opens and lists every image it found. With one click, the plugin downloads the images, saves them to your own Media Library, and replaces the addresses in your content. The rest of your HTML stays exactly as it was. WebP conversion is always your choice. Your HTML structure, classes and custom layout stay untouched. * **Firewall-friendly requests:** Pasted content is encoded before it is sent to your own server, so strict server firewalls (WAF) are less likely to block normal editing. * **Works with popular editors:** Classic Editor (TinyMCE), the block editor (Gutenberg), Elementor and other page builders. * **Translation ready:** Every text in the plugin, including the popup window, can be translated. Right-to-left languages such as Persian and Arabic are supported. #### How it works 1. Copy content that includes images from any website or document. 2. Paste it into your WordPress editor. 3. A window lists the external images. Edit the filenames and alt text if you like. 4. Tick or untick “Convert Images to WebP Format” (and “Apply Watermark” if you set a logo). 5. Click “Upload & Insert Images”. The content is inserted with the images now served from your own site. #### Who is it for? In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New, search for “Stinoment Auto Image Uploader”, then install and activate it. 2. Or upload the `stinoment-auto-image-uploader` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory and activate the plugin from the Plugins menu. 3. Go to Auto Uploader in the admin menu to set extra whitelisted domains and your watermark preferences. The plugin works right away with the default settings. ## FAQ ### How do I upload images from pasted content automatically? Just paste. When the pasted content contains images from another domain, the plugin opens its window and uploads them to your Media Library when you click “Upload & Insert Images”. ### Is WebP conversion required? No. It is optional. Untick “Convert Images to WebP Format” in the popup, or the WebP checkbox in the Media Library and upload screens, and your images keep their original format. ### Which images are converted to WebP? JPEG and PNG images. GIF and SVG files are left unchanged. Your server needs the PHP GD library with WebP support. If WebP is not available, images are uploaded in their original format. ### Does the plugin send my data to an external service? No. The plugin does not use any third-party API and does not send any data to Stinoment or anyone else. When you click “Upload & Insert Images”, your own server downloads only the image URLs found in the content you pasted, using the WordPress HTTP API, and saves them to your Media Library. ### Can I skip the upload and paste the content as it is? Yes. Click “Cancel & Paste Raw” in the popup and the original content will be pasted without any changes. ### Which images are not re-uploaded? Images from your own domain and from the additional domain you set on the settings page are left untouched. ### Can I set the filename and alt text for SEO? Yes. The popup shows a filename field and an alt text field for every image. The alt text is also used as the image title in the Media Library. ### Does it work with Gutenberg and Elementor? It is designed for the Classic Editor, the block editor (Gutenberg), Elementor and other builders that use normal paste events. ### Does the plugin use cookies? It sets one functional cookie, `stinoment_manual_webp`, in the admin area. It only remembers whether the “Auto-Convert Uploaded Images to WebP” checkbox is enabled and contains no personal data. ### Who can use the paste uploader? Only logged-in users who are allowed to upload files (the `upload_files` capability). ### Is the plugin available in my language? The plugin is fully translation ready.
