When the user initiates verification, a popup window opens to `https://stampted. com/authorize` where the user connects a financial account through a secure third- party banking connection. 3. After that, it’s $0.99 per verification — pay as you go, no subscription required. ### How is this different from reCAPTCHA? reCAPTCHA asks users to solve puzzles that bots can now solve with AI. STAMPT Verify confirms a user is a real person with a real financial identity — something no bot can fabricate. Plus, users only verify once across all STAMPT-enabled sites. ### Is user data safe? Absolutely. STAMPT never shares personal financial data with your site. You only receive a verification token, a STAMPT ID, and a GEM trust tier.
