SpaceFace and the Rest

There are similar plugins but not one does what needed to syndicate and update
your activities from providers like MySpace, YouTube, FaceBook etc.

After you register your FaceBook application, you can publish posts from
your site to FaceBook by simply tagging your posts (supports title, body and image).

Also, now you can quickly update status mood on MySpace from SpaceFace->MySpace admin page.

  • MySpace statuses display
  • MySpace activities display
  • MySpace videos display
  • MySpace status mood quick update from SpaceFace->MySpace admin page
  • YouTube favorites display as player or thumbnails
  • YouTube playlist as player or list that opens player in pop-up
  • FaceBook publishing from your site (supports title, body and image)

Results are cached and stored in your WordPress database. Results are displayed
using shortcodes and can be styled anyway you want by placing ‘spaceface.css’
in your theme directory.

All parameters for fetching results can be specified in shortcode.
For more info on functions look here,
or at MySpace and YouTube API docs.

MySpace and FaceBook APIs require setting your own application keys (MySpace keys, FaceBook keys).
YouTube features still don’t require any info except YouTube username but you can add Developer key to avoid embedding limits.

Demo Site

Example usages:

place shortcodes in your posts, pages or widgets.
[myspace action=”get_videos”]

or with some more parameters:
[youtube action=”get_favorites” player=”false” count=”4″]

or use API specific parameters:
[myspace action=”get_activities” selector=”@all”]

Get specific playlist and render first 3 items as embedded player:
[youtube action=”get_playlists_list” list=”Lovenbroj’s 1st” count_videos=”3″ player=”true”]

  1. Uzip and upload ‘spaceface-and-the-rest’ directory to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Configure all settings on SpaceFace admin pages
