Customers send payment directly to the merchant wallet configured for the selected asset. The plugin does not hold funds or provide a hosted wallet. The gateway creates an order-specific quote and payment window, displays the exact amount and receiving address, accepts the customer’s blockchain transaction ID, and verifies the asset, recipient, amount and required confirmations before completing the WooCommerce order. Supported live-network configurations include: * Ethereum: USDT, USDC, DAI and PYUSD. * Polygon: USDT, USDC and DAI. * BNB Smart Chain: USDT, USDC and DAI. * Sepolia test mode: ETH for testing the payment flow before enabling live payments. Version 1 supports the classic WooCommerce Cart and Checkout flow. Merchants remain responsible for wallet security, supported-network configuration, accounting, taxation, regulatory obligations and any refund sent from their own wallet. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Test the complete checkout and verification flow on Sepolia before accepting live payments. Always confirm that each enabled asset uses the intended network, token and receiving wallet. ### External services This plugin connects to external services only as necessary to quote and verify a payment after the merchant enables and configures the gateway. #### Etherscan API The Etherscan V2 API is used to retrieve public blockchain transaction and block information for Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain and Sepolia. Requests can include the merchant-supplied API key, chain ID, public transaction hash, token contract, wallet address and block range needed to verify the payment. This data is required to administer and audit the payment. The plugin does not add advertising or analytics tracking. Upload the plugin ZIP through **Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**, or install it from the WordPress.org Plugin Directory. 2. Activate the plugin. WooCommerce must already be installed and active. 3. Open **WooCommerce > Sovereign Settle**. 4. Select Testnet, enter an Etherscan API key, and configure the Sepolia receiving wallet and confirmation settings. 5. Open **WooCommerce > Settings > Payments** and enable Stablecoin Payment. 6. Complete a test order through the classic WooCommerce Checkout page. 7. Only after the test succeeds, select Live and configure the required live-network assets and wallets. ## FAQ ### Does the plugin hold or forward customer funds? No. Payment is sent from the customer directly to the receiving wallet configured for the selected asset. ### Does it require a hosted account or plugin licence? No plugin licence or WPGator account is required. Transaction verification and price retrieval use the external services disclosed below. ### Which WooCommerce checkout is supported? Version 1 supports the classic WooCommerce Cart and Checkout flow. Block Checkout is not a published V1 compatibility commitment. ### Can the plugin refund a blockchain payment? No. WooCommerce can record the commercial refund, but any cryptocurrency return must be sent separately by the merchant from their wallet after independently checking the destination and amount. ### Why is an order still waiting for payment? Check that the submitted transaction uses the selected network and asset, was sent to the configured address, meets the quoted amount tolerance, and has reached the configured confirmation count. Also confirm that the Etherscan API key and the site’s scheduled-action processing are working. ### What happens when the payment window expires? The expired quote cannot be submitted. The customer must create or refresh into a valid payment opportunity as directed by the order page.
