It lets you type a colon and then shows emoji suggestions, just like in Slack. The best part is that you can add your own custom emoji by uploading images. It also adds an emoji picker in the Gutenberg toolbar. Setting it up is easy; just turn it on, and it works right away. I also appreciate that there’s no remote script loading or tracking, and the code is clean.
