Timings are fetched from the Smart Masjid API using your masjid’s API key. **No more manual website updates.** Most prayer-time plugins require an admin to log in and re-enter every time there is an Iqama or Jumuah update. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install via the WordPress plugin screen. 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress. 3. Register your masjid at [smartmasjid.app/register](https://smartmasjid.app/register) to receive an API key. 4. Go to **Smart Masjid** in the admin menu. 5. Enter the API key and click **Validate**. 6. Copy the shortcode `[smpt_time_table]` and paste it into any page or post. ## FAQ ### Where do I get an API key? Register your masjid at [smartmasjid.app/register](https://smartmasjid.app/register) to receive an API key. ### Can I change the widget style? Yes. Go to **Smart Masjid > Advanced** in the admin panel to choose from three styles and customize colours. ### Does this plugin require any PHP extensions? The PHP `intl` extension is recommended for Hijri (Islamic calendar) date display. It is included with most PHP installations and enabled by default on nearly all WordPress hosting providers. If unavailable, prayer times will still display but the Hijri date will be blank. ### How often are prayer times refreshed? The plugin caches API responses until midnight (based on your WordPress timezone setting). You can manually clear the cache from the settings page. ### Do I need to update the website every time an Iqama time changes? No. Update the time once in the Smart Masjid mobile app and it flows through the API automatically — no need to log in to WordPress.
