Add a separate row for each rectangular section. Add the SlopeQuill Roof Area Estimator block or [roof_area_estimator] shortcode. Labelled keyboard controls, isolated repeat instances and a responsive layout inherit your site’s font and text colour. Download a plain-text summary or use Print summary. No account, API, analytics, cookies, lead capture or visitor-data storage. All inputs stay in the current page until you download them. The tool sends nothing to a provider. Plan area is length × width. Sloped area is plan area ÷ cos(pitch). The allowance is applied once to the total sloped area. This rectangular approximation excludes complex shapes, overlaps, ridges and penetrations; it is not a material order, quote or structural assessment. Add a separate row for each rectangular section. ## Installation 1. Upload the ZIP through Plugins Add New Upload Plugin and activate it on a single- site staging install. 2. Open Settings SlopeQuill Roof Area Estimator to review defaults. 3. Add the SlopeQuill Roof Area Estimator block, or a Shortcode block containing [ roof_area_estimator]. 4. Preview the page and verify the tool in your theme before publishing. ## FAQ ### Does it save my information? No. Reloading or leaving the page loses inputs. Download a summary if you want to keep it. There are no reminders, provider messages or background tasks. ### Can I change the heading? Use the block sidebar, or [roof_area_estimator title=”My planning tool”]. ### How many rows can I add? Add up to 50 rectangular roof sections.
