The block uses a normal published page for panel content. Create a page with the blocks you want to show, then add the “Slidey Panel” block wherever visitors should be able to open it. Add Slidey Panel to a block theme’s Header template to provide a compact menu button, then build its navigation with WordPress blocks in the panel page. #### Key features * Slidey Panel block for posts, pages, templates and template parts. * Uses normal WordPress pages for panel content. * Default page selector in the block editor. * Button text and hamburger icon controls. * Block styling support for color, typography, spacing, dimensions and borders. * Responsive sliding panel with cover overlay and close button. #### How to use the Slidey Panel block 1. Create and publish a page containing the blocks you want to show in the sliding panel. 2. Add the “Slidey Panel” block to a post, page, template or template part. 3. Set the button text and choose whether to show a hamburger icon. 4. Choose the default panel page from the block settings. The block uses one default panel page. ## Blocks This plugin provides 1 block. * Slidey Panel Shows a button that opens a sliding panel. ## Installation 1. Install “Slidey Panel” automatically from the WordPress plugin directory, or upload the plugin ZIP file. 2. Activate the plugin from the “Plugins” screen in WordPress. 3. Create a published page for your panel content and place the “Slidey Panel” block where you want the button. ## FAQ ### Where is the panel content managed? Slidey Panel uses normal WordPress pages. Create or edit the page that should appear in the sliding panel. ### Can different buttons open different pages? No, the block uses one default page. Allowing different buttons to open different page’s content will be a future feature. ### Can the panel appear from the left? No, the panel currently appears from the right only.
