A lightweight plugin that simply adds a small notification bar that allows you to insert simple text at the bottom of every page of your website as a call-to-action. #### Features * Lightweight code that does not slow down your website. * Choose color of font. (Includes transparency). * Choose color of background for the bar. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/sitewide-notice-wp` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress. 3. Use the ‘Settings’ > ‘Sitewide Notice WP’ link on the dashboard screen to configure the plugin. 4. Toggle ‘Plugin Enable/Disable’ to display the notice bar. ## FAQ ### Is this plugin free? Yes this plugin is totally free! Yes, you are able to add basic html code to your banner. ### Where is Sitewide Notice WP Settings? Navigate to your WordPress dashboard > Settings > Sitewide Notice WP. ### Am I able to add links and other code to the text message? Yes, you are able to add basic HTML code to Sitewide Notice WP. ### I need to add custom CSS to my banner You may add custom CSS to your WordPress Customizer. All told, a waste of time. It worked perfectly! My only suggestion is that it would be good to add a bit of padding around the text to give the text some more breathing room. Also, having an option to change the font size on the settings page, would be great. I did both the above through css, but having a font size option would be super helpful. If you want the notice there all the time, then I guess it’s OK.
