## Description

The **Sightura AI SEO Scanner** helps you analyze your website’s visibility for 
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). As search evolves, ensuring that AI engines(
such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude) can crawl and understand your site’s structure
is important for technical SEO.

This lightweight, local tool audits your WordPress site to verify that AI crawlers
can access your content.

### What This Plugin Does:

 1. **AI Crawler Permission Audit:** Checks your `robots.txt` file to see if you are
    blocking bots like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, or PerplexityBot.
 2. **Semantic Hierarchy Check:** Verifies that your HTML structure (H1, H2, H3) is
    properly nested so Large Language Models (LLMs) can parse your content efficiently.
 3. **Entity Schema Detection:** Scans for JSON-LD Organization and Product schema 
    markup to help AI engines understand your business entity.

### How It Works

The plugin generates a live “AI Visibility Readiness Score” directly in your WordPress
dashboard, highlighting specific technical areas where your site’s setup can be 
optimized for AI crawlers.

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install it
    via the WordPress plugin dashboard.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Click the new “Sightura AI SEO” menu item in your sidebar to run your technical
    scan.

## FAQ

### Does this plugin slow down my site?

No. The scanner runs locally in your WordPress admin dashboard and does not impact
frontend page speed.

### Why is my AI Readiness Score low?

If your theme is missing JSON-LD schema or your settings are accidentally blocking
GPTBot, your score will reflect that these elements need to be updated for better
AI crawler access.
