## Description

Your WooCommerce store already has the answers — orders, revenue, products, customers—
you just have to know which report to dig through to find them. Siftiq skips that:
ask a plain-language question in wp-admin, and get a table of results straight from
your own store’s database.

Ask as many questions as you like, then collect the answers you want to keep into
a report and export the whole set as a single PDF.

#### Example questions you can ask

 * What was my best-selling product last month?
 * Which customers haven’t ordered in 90 days?
 * What’s my average order value this quarter, compared to last?
 * Which products have the highest refund rate?
 * Who are my top 10 customers by lifetime spend?

#### Why Siftiq

 * **Read-only by design** — every generated query is checked against an allow-list
before it runs. Siftiq cannot create, edit, or delete anything in your store.
 * **Your data stays on your server** — only the question text is sent out to generate
the query; the query itself runs locally against your own WordPress database,
and results go straight to your browser.
 * **No dashboards to learn** — ask in your own words instead of hunting through
   report filters.
 * **Reports you can hand to someone** — turn any set of answers into one PDF, with
your own headings and an opening summary.

#### Perfect for

WooCommerce store owners and managers who want quick answers without exporting data,
learning a reporting tool, or asking a developer to write a query.

#### Key features

 * 💬 Conversational analytics — ask about orders, revenue, products, and customers
   in plain language
 * 🔒 Read-only architecture — nothing in your store can be created, changed, or
   deleted
 * 📄 PDF report builder — collect charts and tables from any number of questions
into one report, rename the sections, add a summary, and export it as a single
   branded PDF
 * 📤 Full CSV export — every matching row, not just what’s on screen, with a confirmation
   step for large exports
 * ⌨️ Chat-style input — press Enter to submit, Shift+Enter for a new line
 * 🔔 Built-in update notifications — no need to check for new versions manually
 * 🔑 One key per store — an API key locks to the first site that uses it, so it
   can’t be silently reused elsewhere

#### Requires a Siftiq account

Siftiq is a client for the Siftiq API (siftiq.app). A paid subscription and API
key are required — there is no functionality without one. Pricing and signup: https://

## FAQ

### Do I need an account or subscription?

Yes. Siftiq is a client for the Siftiq API — a subscription and API key from siftiq.
app are required to use it.

### Is my data secure?

Your question text is sent to the Siftiq API to generate a query; it’s not stored
after the request completes. The resulting store data never leaves your server —
the query runs locally and results go straight to your browser. Your API key is
stored hashed, never in plaintext.

### Do I need technical skills?

No. Ask in plain language — Siftiq handles turning that into a safe database query.

### Can it modify my store data?

No. Every generated query is validated as a single, read-only SELECT statement against
an allow-list of WooCommerce tables before it runs.

### Can I export results?

Yes — export the full result set to CSV, including rows beyond what’s shown on screen.

### Can I build a report from several questions?

Yes. Every answer has an “Add to report” button, on the chart and on the table separately,
so you can include a chart without its underlying rows if you prefer. Build the
report up across as many questions as you like, rename each section, add a short
summary at the front, and export it as a single PDF. Exported tables carry every
matching row and continue across pages rather than being cut off.

### Are reports generated on your servers?

No. The report is assembled and the PDF is produced in your own browser. Only the
section headings are ever sent to Siftiq, and only if you ask it to write the summary
for you.

### Does it slow my store down?

Queries run through your site’s own database connection, the same as any other admin
report — no extra infrastructure in the request path.

### Can I use one API key on multiple stores?

No — each key locks to the first WooCommerce site that uses it. Using it on a different
site will be rejected; you’d need a separate key per store.

### Do you provide support?

Yes, via https://siftiq.app/support.

## Changelog

#### 1.3.2

 * Current release.
 * Scatter charts now label both axes, so it’s clear which measure is which.
 * Clearer messages when WordPress rejects a request: an expired session and a missing
permission now say what actually happened, instead of showing WordPress’s raw
   error.

#### 1.3.1

 * Security: query validation now resolves every table a generated query reads from,
including unprefixed and schema-qualified names, and rejects anything outside
the WooCommerce analytics allow-list. Update recommended.
 * Pagination bounds are bound through $wpdb->prepare() with placeholders instead
of being concatenated into the statement.
 * String literals are excluded from keyword checks, so ordinary product names no
   longer trip the validator.

#### 1.3.0

 * Build multi-section PDF reports — add any chart or table to a report, then export
the whole thing as one branded PDF with a cover page.
 * Charts and tables are added separately, so you can include a chart without its
underlying table, or the other way round.
 * Rename any section before exporting, and write or generate a short summary that
   opens the report.
 * Exported tables include every matching row, continuing across pages instead of
   being cut off.
 * Declare compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS),
removing the “incompatible plugin” notice in wp-admin.
 * Ask questions about orders, revenue, products, and customers in plain language—
read-only, never creates, changes, or deletes anything in your store.
 * Visualize results as bar, line, or donut charts — ask for a specific chart type,
   or let Siftiq choose one.
 * Export full results to CSV — exports include every row your question matched,
not just what was loaded on screen.
 * Update notifications, Enter-to-submit, and simple one-key setup.
