Speech is generated in the cloud by the external WPVoicer.com text-to-speech service: an administrator explicitly selects a post and requests generation, and the completed MP3 is downloaded to the site’s WordPress Media Library. The plugin also provides local features that remain available when the WPVoicer. com account is disconnected: * Audio Library for previously generated MP3 files * Local audio playback and play counts * Shortcode and page-builder audio fields * Podcast management and locally generated RSS feeds #### Features * Generate speech from WordPress post content * Select languages and standard or premium cloud voices * Upload a voice sample when voice cloning is enabled for the connected service account * Store generated MP3 files in the WordPress Media Library * Embed audio with `[sibillo_audio_audio]` * Use audio fields with Elementor, Bricks, and Breakdance * Build podcast feeds from posts that already contain generated audio * Manage local audio and podcast feeds while disconnected #### External service and pricing Cloud generation requires a WPVoicer.com account and available service credits or an eligible service plan. Introductory credits may be included with a new service account. Additional credits and cloud capabilities are offered by WPVoicer.com. The WordPress plugin code is free and fully available under the GPL. Payment applies only to cloud processing and service capacity supplied by WPVoicer.com. The plugin does not download premium code or executable updates from the service. Existing local MP3 files, playback, Audio Library and podcast features are not removed when cloud generation is unavailable. #### How it works 1. Install and activate Sibillo Audio. 2. Open Sibillo Audio > Connection and connect a WPVoicer.com account. 3. Configure a voice under Voice Settings. 4. Edit a post and explicitly request audio generation. 5. The post content and selected settings are sent to WPVoicer.com. 6. The generated MP3 is downloaded to the site’s Media Library. ### Third Party Services This plugin connects to the external WPVoicer.com Software-as-a-Service platform. The service performs text-to-speech generation, voice previews, speaker-list retrieval, account and usage requests, and custom voice processing. The plugin does not contact WPVoicer.com merely because it is installed, activated, deactivated, or loaded. Install Sibillo Audio from the WordPress plugin screen or upload the plugin ZIP. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Open Sibillo Audio > Connection. 4. Connect a WPVoicer.com account when cloud generation is needed. 5. Configure Voice Settings and request audio from a post. Audio Library and Podcasts can be used with existing local audio without an active service connection. ## FAQ ### Is a WPVoicer.com account required? An account is required for cloud voice data, previews, custom voice processing, account usage and new audio generation. It is not required to retain, play or manage MP3 files already stored on the site, or to manage locally generated podcast feeds. ### Is the plugin free? Yes. The plugin code is GPL-licensed and free. WPVoicer.com separately charges for cloud processing, service credits and eligible premium capabilities. Introductory service credits may be available to new accounts. ### Where are generated files stored? Completed MP3 files are downloaded to the site’s WordPress Media Library. The site owner retains control of those local files. ### Does it use AI voices? Yes. Audio is generated with AI text-to-speech voices provided by the WPVoicer.com cloud service. Standard and premium voice tiers are available, and custom voice cloning can be enabled on eligible service accounts. ### Which languages are supported? Multiple languages are available for speech generation. The current language list is shown under Voice Settings once a service account is connected. ### Can visitors listen to my blog posts? Yes. Generated MP3 files can be played from the post via the `[sibillo_audio_audio]` shortcode or page-builder audio fields, and visitors can listen directly on the page. ### Can I create a podcast from my posts? Yes. Posts that already have generated audio can be grouped into one or more podcasts, each with its own standard RSS feed that you can submit to podcast directories such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify. ### What happens when service credits or introductory access end? New cloud generation may require additional credits or an eligible WPVoicer.com plan. Existing local MP3 files, Audio Library, playback, shortcode output and podcast feeds remain available. ### Does it support page builders? The plugin exposes local audio fields for Elementor, Bricks and Breakdance. The shortcode `[sibillo_audio_audio]` can also render the current post’s generated audio. ### How are podcast episodes selected? Podcast rules include only posts that already have a generated local audio attachment.
